2D Artwork: Movie Starscream observation drawing from the comic

    Just comment and criticize, tell me what you guys think about it. :cool:  I drew it for practice, to see how well I could draw all those shapes and designs on him from the reign of starcream comic. I would post more drawings, but they are blurry (no scanner) and I forgot to focuse on most of them. :banghead:

    His head's a little squished, try to work on proportions, and even though it may look like there's just a bunch of random scraps of metal try to make them llok similar and purposeful. No one said you couldn't simplify it a little. But good job keep on it! :thumbs2:

    There's no difference in line weight anywhere so it's hard to make out where things are ending and beginning.

    If you blacken in more areas it'll give it more depth.

    Perspective seems a bit off too, like around those chest wingflap things.

    Head seems a little more Mer-Man than it should be.

    Don't be afraid to use a ruler or other straight edge tools.

    It's a good basis for a sketch though since you have all your placeholders down, you'd just need to go over and flesh it all out and ink it now.
