Has anyone done a repaint of Movie Starscream or Thundercracker into Skywarp?
I haven't seen one yet, do it.
Here's a quick digibash of a photo I found on Seibertron.com. Unfortunately, I don't have Thundercracker yet.
I will wait until Hasbro releases it lol.
Personally, I hope they save the name Skywarp in the movie line for a Sequel, where he can actually be a character in the movie, have his own bot and alt modes, and have his own toy.
Well the Dreadwing bio is basically Skywarp anyways, yeah?
It would be cool if Hasbro would release this, but I'd struggle with what to do with my movie SS. Cuz if they announced SW I'd have to go buy TC and G1 SS, but on display the movie SS wouldn't fit. Ahhh my wallet hurts.
There was one done on ebay a few weeks ago.
Dreadwing is an impostor! He can NEVER live up to the name Skywarp!
But a Skywarp painted Thundercracker wouldn't hurt.
I have a custom movie starscream painted as Skywarp, i'll post pictures when I get my digital camera back in a couple days, it looks really cool
Noooo, no, I think the implication is that he STOLE Skywarp's teleporter! It's a clever little in-joke from the bio-writers at Hasbro.
Ah, that's a bit too meta for me. I guess I painted Dreadwing black and purple for nothing if that's the case
Haha, not at all! I don't REALLY know if that was the intention of the bio... that's just my interpretation.
And I bet he looks really good in black and purple!
Maybe the reason there's no Skywarp in the movie line is that Dreadwing is trying to pass himself off AS Skywarp. Poor little guy, always wanted to be a Seeker but got made fun of for his lens-face and shrunken legs. When he heard the Seekers were going to Earth with Megatron, he desperately wanted to go. So he stole Skywarp's teleporter, and showed up on Earth in his place. Somewhere back on Cybertron is a very annoyed movie-style Skywarp, tied up in a broom closet.
Anyway, sorry, I got kinda off-topic there.
