Hey all. Here is something that I plan to eventually do, so I've made up a digibash of what he will basaically look like. I'll update this thread tommorow with my final digibashe pictures of him. For now this is what his basic paintjob wil look like in bot mode. I've decided to go with a more updated look for him instead of a straight up G1 deco. C & C is appreciated. I personally love the direction that I'm going with this. Thanks for looking.

Update 1: I've completed his bot mode, and I'm going to start the jet mode pic tommorow while I work on some commisions for volrathWMV.

Update 2: I've come up with a rough digibash of what his jet mode is going to look like.

Update 3: I've come up with 2 pictures of all 3 seeker's together in both bot and jet modes.

I wouldn't buy that. Too drab.

Btw, use the new seeker head.

Neat! I like coloring the inner machinery purple like that! And using a dark grey instead of jet black is a unique idea.

I agree with Onesock, though, it feels like it could use something a bit more.... maybe some deco on the wings and feet, and maybe a touch on the guns? Not necessarily straight-up G1, just some highlights.

And yeah, though aesthetically I actually prefer the Starscream head, the upcoming "Movie Thundecracker" head might work better for Skywarp. If not that, what about painting the head black? It would differentiate it more from just looking like a grey Starscream.

I still wouldn't be surprised if an official "Movie Skywarp" shows up at some point. They're already remolding the head for Thundercracker... it would be foolish of them not to get a second use of that mold and release an arguably more popular character.

Ah, good point. Forgot about that one. Well, in that case...... a third use. :)

Seekers are nothing if not a repaint cash cow!

Looks kinda dull to me, maybe some silver and purple highlights to break up the solid greys and a slightly different paint job on the head/face to give it a more unquie look.

Right now it just seems like more of a 'grey starscream' then an actual Skywarp, imo.

Ummmm.......just curious, but, did any of you actually read my first post at all? I said that this is the base coloring, which means that I haven't added the details yet. I'm also going to be doing a jet mode picture too. Thanks for the comments. I personally prefer the Screamer head over the T-cracker one.

I've updated my first post with the finished Bot-mode. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm going to start the jet mode pic tommorow while I work on some commisions for volrathWMV.

Neat idea. With that other, Thundercracker-remolded head, I think he'd look a bit better.

Also, if you wanted to be really sly, you could isolate all of the purple parts to the robot mode innards, so that when he transformed into a jet, he'd still be a uniform dark grey.

Gonna have to agree with the general consensus here...

Shoulda used the new mold head... colors are kinda blah. Too much grey, not enough black... though, admittedly, I can only imagine how hard getting black to look good on a digibash would be, what with lighting, shadows and all. Still, a good effort!

I'm gonna suggest using the Thundercracker head mold only because that way Starscream being the leader of the Seekers can have a unique head mold.

Like I said, I personally don't like the T-cracker head at all. I prefer Screamer's head. If I find a head that's the same size, could easily replace Screamer's head, and looks more opropriate in my opinion, I'll go with that instead.

Intersting. I like how the Black fades to grey.

I Like the Idea of finding a completly new head too.

Pretty good for a crappy mold, Does need less gray. But over all i still can't stand
    that mold.

BTW, you missed a bunch of pixels in your final draft

Your bash reminds me more of this guy than Skywarp. Your digibash itself is nice though :thumb
