    Hello everybody!

I´m not sure if it´s the right place to ask... but I spotted a single Voyager Shockwave in a TRU shelf with the (in Robot mode) left Tank panel not painted in gold as the other one on the right side, where he is holding the Mechtech gun.
Its hard to compare this part to the Movie CGI Model, but the fact that the side wth the gun has a heavier gold percentage makes this in some way more Movieaccurate.

It is still sealed. So my question is if this is a rare item for collectors, or just a toy with an incomplete paintjob for kids who don´t care anyway?

It will be about as sought after as the variants of your namesake.

I bought a BIS set and the Rodimus had 2 left hip pieces...I don't think it's a rare variant, I think it's crappy QC, and it's kind of annoying.
Now, If you find a Shockwave where the entire figure is painted gold except for the shoulder pieces painted purple, then you might be on to something.

it's worth $6000 but only if you sell it to a crackhead on ebay at 2am on friday the 13th sometime during the year 2012 since the world is ending that year anyway....

    or it's worthless ...

    you decide

IIRC, some RotF Dirges were missing paint aps on the face. Granted you couldn't tell by looking at the package.
The RotF line had a few deco variants, some versions were a few shades darker than others. Breakaway, Sideways, and Scattershot had such variants. I don't know if they affected value or anything (doubt it).

not really , to some the missing paint would make undesirable, to others whop like to collected variants and errors it might be worth a little extra. on average not worth any more than a normal one.

Yeah its a QC error that will more than likely devalue the figure.
