Ransack never appeared in the TF movies, but was included in the various accompanying comics and books. He is supposedly one of the Seekers in the movie continuity (as was Jetfire), and loyal to the Fallen. He didn't get any screen time, but concept art by Ben Proctor is floating around depicting a Model T transformer looking remarkably like Ransack. So, here's my re-imagining of this Seeker...

"After failing to activate the energon harvester on Earth under the leadership of the Fallen, Ransack remained on Earth. Low on energon, he powered down in the early twentieth century, having taken the form of an early automobile and sought refuge in an isolated barn. There he remained, rusting, and awaiting the return of his master, the Fallen..."

    Modifications
Ransack is based on a HtfD Hubcap with a few minor modifications:
    - The head of the biplane toy was modified to fit the Hubcap balljointed neck
    - The hood transformation has been altered to allow the engine/head to protrude
    - The door panels have been removed from the forearms and attached to the shoulders to allow the attachment of machine guns to the forearm
    - Magnetically attached machine guns store under the car in alt mode.
    - Prep'ed, primed and painted with Tamiya acrylics.

BE-autiful. I love how the top of the head is the blower on the car. Nice work. Also I dig your "branding" with the text/logo. Nice work.

That really is beautiful. Excellent technique. Super professional and especially impressive on a scout sized figure.

Neat however i do prefer the appearence of the HTFD fig due to the insectoid design which may have been reference to G1 Ransack

Thanks. I was quite pleased with the rust job considering it was just acrylics. I fancy a go with pigments/oils which are supposed to yield even better results.
Cheers. The gun is on the concept artwork and fits really nicely with the old-fashioned automobile. It was transplanted from the Ransack bi-plane along with the head.
Many thanks ;)  Looks like I achieved what I intended :)
Thanks. The blower makes it look a bit more like a hot-rod and, although not intended, it adds something to the mold I think.
    :)
Makes me smile to hear that from a seasoned pro ;)
    Cheers!
    Many thanks bro.
I quite liked that mod, giving him a more 'caped' look rather than just having some forearm kibble. It also makes him hark back to his plane mode when you lift his arms up.
Fair enough. I do have six of those planes about to be converted into seekers/rainmakers. And from them, an abundance of Ransack heads :p
Cheers! I always like to get the Superquad seal of approval ;)
Suprisingly this didn't take long for me. I must have spent three times as long doing Cykill, but this mold is just so easy to work with. I knew what I wanted to do with it and everything just went to plan.
Thanks man. I imagine he'd get his ass handed to him on a plate by most Autobots, but I love these slightly 'alternative' customs.
Thanks for the motivating feedback guys. Much appreciated!

Just out of curiosity is the hood parts forming? I don't see it in bot mode.

No partsforming here ;)  It was a while ago that I did that mod, but I think there was a flap that went from the base of the windshield to the grill, which covered the head in alt mode. Most of this was cut away to make room for the engine blower, and what was left of the flap was removed from the hinges and attached to the windscreen section.

Good spot; I'd forgotten about that mod ;)

Wow nice. I wouldn't of thought about attaching it like that. So still love this bot.
