i rented Superbad last night. i hated it. the strange part is, i had seen it already. i watched it in the theater, and thought it was really really funny. what changed?
on the other hand, when i saw Napoleon Dynamite in the theater, i hated it, but now it makes me laugh harder everytime i watch it! anyone have any other examples of this?

Holy shit. I actually had the exact same thing happen just last night. Saw it in the theaters, laughed my ass off. Insisted my parents watch it and hung out with when they did...and got maybe a few chuckles outta it. Mostly the cops.

But that's it, just a few. I have no idea what happened between then and now.

That skinny kid is a lot better in Juno. For a chick flick, it's really good.

i haven't seen it yet, but i've had the same thing happen to me with other movies. i think some movies just don't have re-watchability, meaning after that first viewing, nothing about it is as good.

i thought the movie was ok, the funniest parts were with the cops though.

the 'main' characters were actually kind of annoying.

I saw it not so long ago with my wife at home.

I think it is one of those movies that has the mass funny appeal when in the theatres cause a lot of the thing that they say are pretty shocking. When you are with 1 or 2 ppl, (especially your wife) it seems less shocking and more vulgar.

I though it was a good movie, funny that with all the talk about sex, there was no nudity, cept for the pictures of dicks…

I for one liked Dazed and confused for a high school end of year story better.
