    did any one else notice what he said about engaging that tank thing now i have no clue about the comics but could he be talking about megatrons reformat

    Yep, that's true, that's how he got his injury and went to his home and was later healed by the mysterious relic.

    Didn't anybody notice him when he appeared in the Reign of Starscream issue 1 last year? He was on the bridge of the Autobot ship reassuring Prime that he made the right decision.

    Well, the specific reason Warpath and Hardtop are there is to give fictional appearances to the Target-exclusive Scout-class redeco toys from the first movie line. Non-film/toy-only characters often show up in that capacity in the Movie tie-in comics. Prowl (as well as Cosmos) are the rare exceptions of Movie characters who don't have toys or anything.
