Prime on the other hand looks really nice. I believe I like this one better than the other pic we saw.

 

This one seems to resemble the movie design art better

 

Nice to see that the transformations (as crazy as they may be) ARE possible in toy form.

But Prime's arms are mistransformed.
His left hand is on his rightside arm.
His legs also need to be straightened out so we can get an idea of how he stands. Right now he just looks like he's standing on his floppy "leg piles."

So far so good though. The other prime from earlier today seems to have better proportions But this Prime looks closer to the movie art we've been seeing.
But I will not make final judgements until I see the official pictures from Hasbro and pictures of the actual toys out of their packages.
Now it's just a waiting game and time to start saving money.

This looks more like a finished prime whereas the other picture from today looks like an early prototype that would belong with the models we saw last year. This Prime has the clear windows and is done in plastic like what we see just before finished Test Shots.

Is that a wire on the truck mode for Prime? Possible Electronics? and what is behind Prime's leg in the bot mode picture-is it something we can use for a sense of scale? These appear to be Leader Class to me. I would have guessed Voyager on the other Prime picture from today. They both might be toys coming out in different price points!

I could warm up to the Megs too, though the kibble underwing ruins it for me-but I will still buy it.

Megatron's alt mode may be the coolest non-realistic alt mode I have ever seen for a Transformer.

 

These must be some of the "Movie authentic" figures we heard about so long ago.

As nice as Prime is, I think I'll buy the other one first.

you can tell as well, prime is mis-transformed. the hands are backwards, and that loks like a battery pack behind him on the floor, so electronics. these may be teh $90 price point toys. megatron looks like he may need some diecast in the legs to keep a balance.

 

ok, all hope is lost for megs, i don't know if i find this megs uglier than the little one or viceversa. i don't care anyway, i'm just happy we're getting a good optimus toy.
