These Pixelformers are a project I started to draw all the Movie Transformers's vehicle and robot modes in MS Paint. It was a very tedious project but the rewards are great.

Here's the ones I've uploaded so far, gonna upload 1 per day for about 8 more days. I might start on the ROTF characters soon after if there's demand for them.

Feel free to download and recolor/edit them, whatever you like.

I really like the barricade, but his head is too big.

Very nicely done. Of course, I absolutely love Barricade, but Blackout is also cool. :)

I really like these pieces! Reminds me of the Sega Genesis games I enjoyed in the 1990s.

Wow, nice! I like to think of myself as quite the spriter, but I don't have the patience or time to make something as detailed as what you've got here! Keep up the good work!

Thanks! If you're curious, a typical Movie robot can take up to 4-5 hours to draw, complete with details. Very time consuming.

I start off drawing something like a humanoid figure made of rectangles, then start with the head, then the torso, arms, etc.

It can be hard to find good references, and sometimes I can't tell what I'm looking at, so I have to simplify or improvise details. Brawl's legs and Blackout's inner arms are an example of this.

Also, here's a question for all you viewers: Since the TF1 characters will likely be done by the end of the week, what would you like to see next?

    A. ROTF Characters
    B. TF1 Character that weren't in the movie (Dropkick, Biped Arcee, Incinerator, etc.)
    C. Original characters of my own design

I've thought about the ROTF scouts, I realized there was one big problem: Depthcharge.

Although the character is represented as a Scout class figure, I've tried to keep all the Pixelformers in scale.

So Depthcharge turns into a stealth ship, the real life equivalent of which is 238 feet long. Which would about be as long as 7 of Brawl's tanks in a horizontal line.

And in robot mode, he'd be 150 feet tall, 1.5 time the size of Devastator.

So I'd have two options for Depthcharge: drawing a much smaller and inaccurately scaled ship and robot mode, or drawing a ship and robot in scale that are so large, that in MS Paint you can't see the whole thing even in 1x view.

If I where to draw Depth Charge, I'd go with the former option, but the point is: Depthcharge is friggin huge!

Well Thanks for letting us use the base sprites so we can edit them around,i made some off-movie characthers for your thread, two based on the movie lines and one being armada homage, yeah i added some mayor Edits, the most noticable is Cliffjumper's Head and The Mechtech Weapon i made. (which makes mayor sense for Cliffy, considering he had a BIG Gun in G1.)

Consider it a Little Hand Giver,Cosbydaf.

Also for the rest of the crew take a guess what the color combination (besides being a homage of ROTF Tankor, the Vehicle mode colors are based on a certain video game) *Tip: Its a Ps1 Game Made By Midway.*

Those are some great edits! My favorite is Red Alert, good choice of colors. The Mechtech Rifle is a nice piece of work, as is the alternate Bumblebee head.

As for the color combination and the Midway game is...Destruction Derby Raw? LOL, I have no idea.

Tip: Did you know you can use the eraser tool as a color swapper? Left click the color you want to replace, and right click the new color. Then drag the eraser across and it recolors every pixel. Saves a lot of time and ensures accuracy.

If the thing you're recoloring is big, expand the eraser by pressing Ctrl and + on the Number Pad (at the same time).
