I´ve ben enjoying some mold that I didn´t like at first, like Sideways or Breakaway. Dunno why, but overtime I´ve grown to like them for some reason.

What molds do you guys own from the movies that at first you thought they were crap but then grew to like them?

HA Sideswipe. At first I thought it was garbage, then I got it, and my opinion completely changed. Great figure.

Jetfire. Bought him as combination fodder for Power-Up Prime, but I now display him seperately.

You know what's funny? Outside of Leader Prime and the HA line, most of the Movie toys have done the opposite as 'grow on me'.

I liked Mixmaster, but now it's just an annoying pop-off-panel floppy mess to me.

I liked Voyager Starscream, but as clever as the mold is, this fudgesicle I was eating revealed itself to be frozen dog poo on a stick when I saw images of Leader Starscream.

    Voyager Demolishor.
I kinda went back and forth on this figure, but you know what, he is kinda nifty.

Devastator. Still disappointing compared to what I know Has/Tak COULD have done with it but as it is it's pretty fun to fiddle around with. And of course feed Legends to.

    Weirdly, legends springer.

I picked him up on sale for £1 because he was super cheap, and he languished alongside a losd of robot heros for ages, but since noticing his spr1 ng3r decal he's been growing on me and I find myself compulsively fiddling with him. Legends starscream is still the worst figure I own though.

Scalpel may find himself bought at some point too because his alt-mode is cute.

Stratosphere. At first the feet bothered me. But after a while playing with it,I found it to be an enjoyable figure.

Pretty much both figures from the Movie 1 "Freeway Brawl" set; Voyager Prime and Bonecrusher.

Prime is...interesting. Certanly not the greatest voyager ever, and the spring-loaded driver door loves to not stay closed, but the smokestack cannons look awesome when thought of as flamethrowers, and who can argue with a toy who can impersonate Dirty Harry?

Bonecrusher is also nice. Transformation is pretty ingenious, but I don't get the extendo-arms, and the minesweeper arm is hard to pose in robot mode as it's got an offset center of pivioting. But in terms of being completionist for all in-movie TF's, it's nice to have him all the same.

    Supreme Devastator.
Voyager The Fallen (shit alt mode but his robot mode is fun to fiddle around with!)

When I bought the original Starscream at a discount, it was just to complete the cast. Turns out I liked him a lot. His automorph whatever worked particularly well imo.

I bought Hoist really just to get Hoist. Then I found Mixmaster to more interesting(and challenging). That surprised me.

completely forgot the ROTF version of the starscream mold, he's still a big ape, but second only to munky in terms of awesome apishness. (meaning he's only better than optimus minor, but whatevs..)

Chromia and Demolishor. Initially I only got them because both characters were in the film. Chromia grew on me as soon as I opened on it (nice paint scheme) and I find the design interesting. Demolishor took longer to grow on me, but now I find it charming; now I plan on picking up the Takara white repaint so I can use the Hasbro version as Scavenger.
