The only way things improve is by being criticized, the way you show your REAL support for this site is by loging on, posting and helping the site improve by pointing out its flaws and giving constructive critisism. Maybe they shouldnt have said that "TFormers kicked your ass!", but frankly its true, they DID have the better coverage. TFW will only get worse as a site is we let "Mediocre" coverage stay Mediocre, and not suck the sites metaphorical cock.
i agree with this, i might have been a bit over the top, but i was highly dissapointed at the way tfw handled the coverage. the front page post doesn't even mention the legends. and for some reason (still unexplained) they skipped thundercracker. the front page truely doesn't even have a link to the good images, you got to click the image of buldegon to get to them. usually i just click the view thread button and click the link that is usually in the first post or the link on the front page to get to the images....you can see the confusion that went on in the early parts of the thread......heck i know i wasn't the only one that it took a while to find the images.....the average goer will probably just view the thread and think the crappy pics in the thread is all there is, and get aggrivated......
Whose FRIGGIN idea was this Mighty Muggs anyway? Who even buys such stupid stuff anyway? We already have robot heroes for the 'cute superdeformed' look, but those are actually cool... I kinda pretended they didn't exist, but this Shockwave... it made me wish to roast the creators on a slow, slow fire.
I know the work that goes into it. I'm not sure how my statement is "ignorant". As I said in my post, I'm hardly one to defend Tformers, and I like TFW as a message board and general news site way way waaaay better. But frankly it sucks that I have to go to other sites just to get decent pictures of toys at a huge convention like SDCC. Botcon pics and info are usually better, but in general pictures from any other convention except Botcon are horrible at TFW2005 and its sister sites. As has already been mentioned, they're horribly darkened and pictures of many important products are left completely out. Whoever's been doing the picture-taking at SDCC should either learn how to use their camera properly, get a better one, be more comprehensive, or not even bother taking pictures because they're wasting time and effort on something that people are going to squint at, give up on, and then go to other sites to find GOOD pictures of the stuff they're looking for. Seriously, Compare. Not even close.
Have to agree with Beastbot here. I love TFW2005's forums (I left Seibertron a long time ago due to lackluster mods who let trolls run rampant, and Tformers is... well not much of a forum as a news site) but frankly, every Botcon coverage at TFormers, both info and pictures, is miles better then TFW2005s. (yet, TFW2005 got the best coverage price lately... I cannot fathom why).
Theyre so CUTE! I usually dont go with these kinda things, but I would pick up the Bumblebee one for sure
Bumblebee gets door wings but Prime STILL doesn't get his headfins? Too bad..but I still want these because they look awesome!
Not all TRU markets are like that though. The TF Mighty Muggs here have sold out at both TRU and Kmart at regular pricing.
I would be happy to have Movie Prime and BB to sit beside their G1 counterparts, and would love to add Jazz to the pack!! When I find them they will come home with me.
on the diamond select tag,its says also availible at toysrus these were awsome i hope to see megatron and the fallen
