I think the older picture looked better. i just think the grey looks tacky, they should have tried to keep the dark silver they had going in the older catalogue. other than the colour scheme he looks pretty neat.
Won't be June 2, that's for sure. Leader Prime is released first, then Megatron will follow. Maybe 4-6 weeks later? More?
Arm cannon. Bucket head. HOW FRIGGIN HARD IS THAT?!?!?! Those two small details would make so many people happy. *strokes his revoltech Megs happily*
As far as shitty Movie Megatron toys go, I prefer the relatively less ugly Voyager version. The bluish silver on that one looks better than the white here (and don't get me started on the pink things on his back). Alt mode kinda looks like the spaceship from Mobile Suit Gundam. I guess that's kinda neat. Definitely not getting this thing.
Damn, he needs more of that blue airbrushing on his torso. The deco's a little too disjointed for me as-is. Loving the crown of laser thorns, though. And I very much like the overall look of the design with the wings still visible like this in robot mode. I'd say more, but for the rest of my reasonings you must Paypal me $50. The One True Fan's One True Opinion isn't a charity.
You go find me a fairy with pointy red blade things sticking out of its shoulders for wings. The One True Fan gives you two hours to complete this quest! Or you will lose XP!
I forgot, did anyone leak what LeaderMegs's automorph or electronics are? True fairies don't cut themselves, according to the One True Encyclopedia. I am afraid I can't allow it, for reasons of standardized thought.
Something tells me its mistransformed. It does look different in posture than the resin proto we saw months back, so its possible that it is indeed, mistransformed. However Tony and the team who went to toyfair can probably answer this: Is this any different than the one you guys saw?(At toyfair Megatron was shown but no photos were allowed). I just remember Tony saying it was grey. The bio that DESTRO linked a week back said his arms combine to form a fusion cannon and that he has some claw thing with a chain. That seems cool. I assume its nose of the plane. I wonder if 1 arm can use its part of the fusion cannon to resemble just 1 cannon, but smaller? Will wait to see this in person and hear in depth reviews on him.
Hrm...I like the Voyager sized Megs and Prime better so far. But who am I kidding? Problems aside, I'll probably be picking this up too.
