Probably just a repackaged regular Leader Sentinel, much like they released a repackaged Leader Prime first (well, it has a few minor differences) only to release the MP-ish Buster Prime later.

I do love some Masterpieces. I just really really hope that Takara can do the characters justice like they did with MP SS and Buster Prime. Like others have said, give Ironhide some big ass guns, some better paint and pretty please some chrome and it will be amazing. Sentinel needs to be more accurate with some intricate paint apps and I will be very happy.

I think this is the very first time (at least in the movie world) that takara has let us know about nice repaints coming BEFORE the US versions were already available in US markets!

This time I won't have US duplicates!!! That makes me very happy.

Pictures are needed to make a decision. If it's brilliant I'll buy, but not too excited about spending loads of money on a toy that I could get for cheaper.

This. I hate loosing money due to having bought an inferior version and sold it to a lower price once the superior version is announced... Yeah, I could just wait a little before buying the first version but where I live, TF doesn't shelfwarm long enough to.

    Definitely.

The cannons on the Leader are ridiculously small and probably inaccurate (the left one reminds me of the little cannon drone from the Deluxe), new ones would be cool even if there's almost no chance that'll happen.

I also hope there's a way to mod this figure to make the doors hanging elsewhere than below the arms.

This could be interesting. I prefer my Masterpieces to be things other than the movie-verse Leaders, but I could be swayed with things of absolute, undeniable beauty.

maybe interested in sentinel prime, as long as he can still fit in with the regular movie guys.

i don't care about leader ironhide, i think it's too big, and out of scale, same with bumblebee lol.

According to an Allspark poster, the Ironhide we saw on the show floor was a painted resin proto. Resin proto's are always bigger then the actual prototype, so count on the actual product to be more in scale with leader Optimus, about shoulder length (which is pretty close to movie scale).

Yeah, it's pretty much standard practice for all toy companies. I don't remember exactly why they do it, but I think it has something to do with how the toy manufacturing process has the product coming out smaller.

This complicates things for me. Since I'm movie accurate detail nut.
I will probably end up getting both. But too early to tell.
Now I'm starting to think what If Takara takes care of the details that hasbro left out and not just leaders. I guess I won't be buying anything until I have seen both Hasbro's and Takara's version of figures.

I'm hoping we get pictures of the Takara MP versions before mass retail of the Hasbro versions, so I know whether or not to wait.

I think MPM Starscream is one of the nicest looking toys in my collection, and I'd hope that Sentinel and Ironhide will live up to that standard, too, but I don't want to wait for the MP version only to find that it's not up to much when the regular version is no longer available.

    MP-Sentinel Prime!??!

Now that sounds awesome! I mean, peaugh's review of the Leader Class figure was totally top notch, Prime looks like a totally wicked and worthwhile piece to pick up! And, if he's that good, imagine what better sculpt and paintjobs would yeild!

Hopefully he'll have better QC than poor MP-Rodimus. :(

I would consider Ironhide if they make him with a metallic red finish.
