Movie Legends Starscream
Movie Legends Blackout
Most of the LOC movie toys look worse than the Cybertron BK Kid's Meal Toys.
Oh come on, they totally do not.
A few too many compromises to scale those down, in my opinion. Sure I understand why the LOC's exist (and that such compromises must obviously be made when reducing such complicted designs), but when the Voyager BLACKOUT (for example) is so damn good then these become pretty redundant to me.
I still like Mini-Movie-Megatron though... can't explain why.
Except that Voyager Blackout is not so good. Sculpt-wise, it is; toy-wise, not that much.
Well I was going purely on looks, not having the toy yet. What lets the big fella down?
Enormous backpack (that acts as a mandatory 3rd leg when you try to pose it), hard to pose with shoulder-mounted weapon and funky shoulders that could eventually break if not manipulated properly.
While it does have its flaws and isn't perfect Voyager Blackout is pretty damn sweet.
Those LoC don't look to bad either.
Blackout looks pretty nice.
Starscream looks like a swollen tick.
Get that wack Shit outta here!!!!
The vehicle modes looks good. Robot modes... meh...
*I'll still get 'em...
Hey, at least the Cybertron LOCs had similar transformations to their larger counterparts. These things are marginal at best.
You were comparing them to BK Cybertron figures in your initial post, not LOC Cybertron.
Starscream, I'll have to say maybe. (And, that's a stretch.)
Blackout, I'll have to say sold on that mold.
Ok, so maybe I overstated the movie LOC lack of quality in my comparison.
But these things are terrible.
OMG! What the hell have they done to SS! Blackout isn't too bad though for an LOC
Is it just me or does Screamer look like a chicken?
You're forgetting that most of the Cybertron figures that got them had fairly simple transformations to begin with. The only real exception being Scattor Shot. Considering how complex the movie toys are, they did a damn fine job on these.
Everyone has been saying that since the first time we saw Starscream..
Gotta disagree with you. My only complaint with him is that he would have been better if he were bigger. Which is funny because I usually prefer small toys. He's just one that shoulda been big and scary. I have no trouble posing him with the rotors on his shoulder and the backpack rarely gets in the way when it's not on his shoulder. I've currently got him positioned holding two of his rotor blades as swords. I love his design and I think he's a fun toy as well.
On a side note I had the high bid on Legends Blackout and 3inch Tit Blackout and SPX ended the auctions early, so I got them both. Rockin.
Separate names with a comma.
