    ALTERNATE MODE

Still the recognizable unrecognizable cybertronian jet. Actually, the legs now being the wings, I think it looks much better than Voyager Megatron. Head is still a bit visible on top of the jet, but I think it looks better here than Voyager Megatron too.

    TRANSFORMATION

Actually more interesting than Voyager Megatron's. Rotate wing tips, insert the little pegs in the holes on the wings to form the feet, extend the wings to form the legs, rotate at the waist, fold down middle part (cockpit) of the jet on the back (it will reveal the head and move forward a little piece in the centre of the chest, fold down the arms and rotate them in at the shoulders. You're down!

    ROBOT

Much, much better than expect with very nice poseability at the head (ball joint), shoulders (ball joint), waist and hips (ball joints). Nice sculpting throughout with black and gold accents and red eyes. For such a small toy, it's VERY nicely done.

got him yesterday with dx barricade, wreckage and old bumbebee. the jet mode is huge for a legends figure. seems lacking in post butt kibble if that makes any sense. i like the bot mode, and since this is going to bew my only movie megatron, i can tolerate the design.b+

I've found with my Legends Megatron he's actually quite nice in jet mode and the head isn't that obvious, if you turn the head around in jet mode. Then you have the face looking down the length of the "nose" of the jet just like in the Movie designs. It even tucks behind the jet nose ever so slightly, barely concealing it.

This guy is awesome! Loads of fun to play with! I recommend swaping the arms so the ball joint is not visible head-on, as it greatly improves both modes. Articulation is great, arms/legs, waist and balljoint head. Even though you can't pose him, because he has rubber arms, you can bend them when playing.:D  Transformation is more complex then I thought, but still about as difficult as your average legend figure. At first glance I thought they used his old head design, but closer inspection reveals it's actually just his movie head's standard mode, only good looking. (almost cute!) 9/10!

    Accuracy rating: 4/5.

First movie Legends figure I picked up. These things are great if you don't have the money for the larger Transformers, or just want to save space. Anyone else impressed by the paint aps on the head and chest? Panel lining, on a tiny tiny Transformer. :)
