I heard about Fred Meyers releasing some things early for the movie, so I checked out the Redmond Fred Meyer and found the Movie Legends figures. I picked up Jazz, Prime, Megatron, and Barricade.

WOOT! I was afraid Prime and Megs would only come in that stupid four-pack!

I may still get the four pack just to have it, but still cool to find them now and individually. I didn't get Bumblebee and Ratchet- they just didn't look so good to me.

Is it me or wave 1 has 6 different figures instead of only 4? Ratchet, Jazz, Bumblebee, Barricade, Prime, Megatron... I thought Prime and Megatron were wave 2 with Blackout and Starscream.

Same with deluxe figures, how come Swindle and Bonecrusher were found at retail when they're not even supposed to be wave 1?

But how come they already have wave 2 toys in hand? Isn't that strange?

Maybe Hasbro ships them all together and each wave shipment is marked with a specific date. Instead of looking at the different dates, the stockers may have opened the boxes and just put the toys out... my guess

Sorry, I was predisposed, but yeah, Prime and Megs say series 8, while Jazz and Barricade say series 7.
I added some large images of the backs so you can see where it says that.

Wow! Those look much better than I was expecting. Probably because there's no SS. Now all I have to do is wait about another year probably until Hasbro UK releases them over here in England

Wake me for the dollar clearance. Otherwise I'm skipping this entire size class.

Hey, all of a sudden I want these! I've liked Loc MEGATRON from the start, but the rest left me cold until now.

For being Legends figures, these look pretty cool. They seem to have more detail than past Legends figures.

Actually, I think Jazz seems to be the most well put together of the 4 I have, and overall one of the better Legends figures.

Perhaps there're not waves per se, but "collections" like what Hasbro did with Star Wars figures.

During the prequel movies, Hasbro released concurrently assortments for 3 "collections" of Star Wars 3 3/4 inchers. The idea was that "Collection 1" were major characters, "Collection 2" were troops and secondary characters and "Collection 3" were they're-in-the-movie-few-seconds characters. All shipped at the same time, but I think in different cases.
