    Hi y'all.

As you should know (I hope) Leader Class Movie Megatron was meant to have a gimmick in his right hand where the hand would shoot out on a chain. Unfortunately, the spring which would've allowed the gimmick to work was not included. Which sucks.

Now, I know how to take the arm apart. I have a substitute spring, but if that won't fit I can easily take the one in the left arm (the gimmick in that hand sucks balls anyway).

My problem is simple: where the hell am I meant to put the spring? I can't figure out where it was meant to go, and looking at other launching things hasn't helped. Could someone please help? Pics would be appreciated, as a simple wordy description will more than likely confuse me. Not your fault, it's mine.

    Chars muchly ;)

There should be another peg on the trigger(2-1 for a small spring already there, a larger one for a spring to shoot out)

Wish I could help, but mine is the same way. My biggest problem though is the 'arm pod' that stores the chain. It is so loose that it can't stay folded back on its own. I got the Premium one. Kind of ruined the whole figure for me.

    That's an easy fix.

Pop the part off (if I recall correctly, teh right arm's on a clip joint) and put small peices of tape over each side and make sure they're flat. pop it back on and it should swing tighter. You may have to build up teh tape if it's REALLY loose, though.

Success! Megs can now launch his fist at people! And all it took was a screwdriver and one of them clicky pens. Lucky for me it was out of ink anyways :p

    Thanks, Eva!

I actually did this "spring transplant" trick when I got my premium Megs this past thursday. I did that before I even bothered to Transform him. It literally took 5 minutes and worked perfectly after.

I bought my Leader Class Megatron yesterday. I'm not worry about if
the hand spring works or not, because I'm going to keep the figure inside
    the box.

The only thing I hate about it is the two double A batteries it comes
with. Eventually, I will have to open it just to remove the two batteries
when the two are dead. I don't want corrosion from the dead batteries
    all over my figure.

I had one guy told me that I can open it and put it back inside the box
and it will look like as if it was never opened.
