UPDATE! Confirmed! Just bought it and compared them both. MA-19 Landmine not only sports a darker, more realistic military green, the wheels are RUBBER! Very authentic indeed! Here's a gallery:

    -----------

I just came back from the local hobby store and saw that their Movie dexlue-class MA-19 Landmine, the Japanese version that comes with a little AllSpark, was distinctly a much darker shade of military green.

As I don't have the Hasbro one side by side to compare, I could not discern whether it was the lighting or whether it is truly a plastic colour change.

For those who have one in their hand, can you confirm or deny this?

To me in the pics, the color looks richer. Mine looks pale compared to the pic.

Okay, not on-hand, but between a couple of online blogs and confirmation with other members, MA-19 Landmine is indeed a different color. Supposedly, his wheels are rubber too.

Although I do not own the Takara version, but I can attest to darker colour on that version indeed. He also comes with the Allspark cube (POS, imho...) and rubberised plastic tires.

Why did I go for Takara Stockade instead... :banghead:

    *in hand*

Yeah it looks a little darker. More green and less blue/grey in the color.

That's the online gallery I saw that lead me on my quest to get more info about Landmine in the first place! :D  Glad you could confirm the wheels as well though.

Always bugged me a bit that the significant variations on Landmine always escaped attention. Especially with him being one of the best of the Movie toys.
