Is this the 07 Mold? (As opposed to the recon remold).

I'm curious as to how you'll move the head forward without affecting transformation - mainly because I was about to attempt this project myself. What this figure really needs is ankle swivel, but I'm stumped trying to figure out how to do it.

There was a mod savio-prime did where they took RotF soundwave's hinge joint (the one that attaches the solar panel that's between his legs) and modded it into the piece of plastic where the head sits. Search up "Mods to Premium Ironhide" by savio-prime.

I'm curious about the bumper. How well does it stay together in vehicle mode, and how does it affect the transformation?

Bovril - No it is the ROTF Ironhide painted...

Onslaught - I used an xacto and cut the front bumper in half and then just used the pegs from the front portion of the truck and pegged them into the same holes on the bumper... It holds tight... does not hinder transformation...

hiya , nice work but umm the bumpers not supposed to be attached to the fenders in bot mode! If you are trying to be movie accurate that is! it should be attached to the chest plate angled down at the sides
