Here's IRONHIDE! :)  Recon ironhide and 07' ironhide were used for this custom.

*Switched head, moved head forward, swapped back assembly, added bumper to chest for accuracy, and modified right arm cannon to look closer to CGI.*

Paint work is a little sloppy but You've got the right idea. Thin your paints out a bit, go for thin layers and be patient. Take your time. It's lookin good though and you've captured a lot of the details. Good work.

Mod-work looks awesome, especially with the chest.

I agree with the other people on the paint, though. It could use some thinning out. If you find it too difficult making the paint shiny-smooth you could always make it more deliberately rough as 'battle damage'. :)

Oh, and the pictures could use better focus. Might I suggest using the macro feature of your camera and putting up a simple light tent setup?

Considering the resolution of your pics - you could always just pull further away from your custom for your pics & then just shrink the pic by around 80% (to remove the speckles), then crop the pic to fit just your custom...

You might also try to add a small lamp to shed some light on this figure - look how clear the outlets are, that proves that you could pull away from the figure more & get a more sharp pic without being right on top of it (great camera btw...).

This is amazing though - love that you figured out how to transform the front bumper to match the movie armor & your paint skills show real promise!

Really nice mods. Like closetrat says, take pics a little farther away.

I'd really love to learn how you did the chest mod. I've done a few mods to mine, but this mod of yours is great.

How do the legs register into position for the alt mode now that you're not using the old chest plate? Are you simply using the side leg panels that plug into the back window part for that purpose?

I have a few ideas on how to split the bumper into that configuration, but I'm not sure what you have going on behind the "road armor" logo. Did you use the old chest plate to create that portion? How did you get the bumper to stay in front for the bot mode, because it rotates to the back in that mode?

More info and pics would be awesome, especially for the transformation!

Any way we can get an update on how you did the chest piece and the front bumper?
