I recently got cyberverse commander ironhide and thought it was great, now ive decided i need to get a bigger version of ironhide to scale with ROTF Leader Optimus, been putting it off for ages as i caught up with classics, so whats the best figure out there for scale and screen accuracy?

Thanks in advance, if anyone has pictures to show scale of the figures that would be great too.

I LOVE Recon/Jungle Attack Ironhide, soo many weapons, and a nice head/articulation.

But Leader Ironhide is also a killer, and he looks good next to RotF Leader Optimus in proto-form, alt-form, Ironhide's been eatin' his wheaties.

In terms of looks? DOTM Voyager Ironhide. In terms of all around playability and features? DOTM Leader Ironhide.

I say Recon is the best, and the TRU by me has them for less than $12

Dotm voyager is tiny. I have the 07 voyager and even he is smaller than voyager ratchet. so Leader for scale/accuracy/awesomeness!

I have Recon Ironhide and I love him. Don't like the slouch on DOTM Leader Ironhide, but that's just my opinion.

Leader. He is my all time favorite movie-style Ironhide.

Recon Ironhide is a serviceable toy, but since Ironhide never actually appeared like that in any movie...*I* would disqualify it.

Leader wins on size. Noise. Fall short on the rest.

Overall, i think the Deluxe might be best, but i like the original premium too.

I don't get the love for the Cyberverse Commander. It's just infuriatingly small and fiddly.

Clarification: It's marginally shorter than the the orignal Voyager mold, but overall there is less mass.

Speaking as someone who owns pretty much every mold version of movie Ironhide...

...I'd say the -most accurate- version is the Hunt For The Decepticons Deluxe figure, shown in the upper left here:

Alternately, the RotF Robot Replicas version is THE most accurate, since it obviously doesn't have to make concessions in order to turn into a GMC Topkick.

I used to think that the original 2007 mold (and it's retools & rereleases) was the best overall FIGURE or movie Ironhide, but the new DotM mold is really so much more accurate &better engineered, even with the chest piece that doesn't want to stay pegged into place. The Leader class figure is great for being BIG IRONHIDE, but I still have to go with that DotM Voyager as best overall figure.

So, HftD Deluxe for most accurate, DotM Voyager for best overall figure. Plus, the DotM Voyager has all those MechTech options that let Ironhide be all he can be:

I recommend Leader Ironhide, but then if you are on a budget, the DOTM voyager or HFTD deluxe versions are primo :)

Burger King Ironhide. It's the most accurate because
it's all that's left of him.

Seriously though, that Robot Heroes barrel roll one is quite cool.

I still love the deluxe a lot, most accurate representation IMO.

Might get the DOTM voyager if it's on sale someday.

Leader followed by Recon Ironhide. Only get the DOTM voyager if you like Mechtech compatibility and leg articulation. The deluxe is okay but overrated.

Awful robot kibble on the bottom in vehicle mode.
    The head!
The kibble on the arms in robot mode. (That was clever on the Deluxe, but something the size and price of a Leader should have better options.)
