I'd like to see a gaint as well but I just don't think it could be pulled off to well, the last time we saw a gaint rampaging through a city was the American Godzilla (thats as my memory serves) as all know how well that went over.
So Laurence Fishburne gets to voice a cloud. He must be disappointed too. I personally wouldn't have minded a Galactus armada. A bunch of smaller purple and blue ships that combined into a mothership. It's different, but better than amorphous purple cloud.
I’m going to hope that his ship arrives inside a cloud and he’s fully revealed in the next movie. Sort of like when they reveal a new character in the comics, you get an obscured glimpse on them on the last page with the following issue doing the full introduction.
"Turn around, look at what you see....." I can't believe a dude sang that song. Anyways, this sounds like an ending to the movie. There is no way they are going to fight the surfer, have galactus attack, have the surfer turn good, and then beat galactus, all in one movie. Just seems a bit much. I would rather they do Ultimate galactus.
Yeah, that would be kind of like trying to cram in the Harry Osbourne Goblin, marriage to Mary Jane, relationship with Gwen Stacy, Sandman, black suit saga, and Venom all into one Spiderman movie.
They've said that the primary focus of the movie is the Surfer, so I'm betting whatever Galactus we see, it'll be little more than an establishing shot just before the movie ends. Cliffhanger!
Well the spaceships in Independence Day were seen as just clouds at first. I assume theyre doing something similar here. I may be wrong.
A cloud? Like others I hope that this is just screen to Galactus true form and that they make him similar in appearance to the 616 version. But if it's not then what is the Ultimate Nullifer going to be? A giant fan?
*flickflick* *exhale* There ya go! :/ Come to think of it..a giant intergalactic cigarette that gave them all space cancer might be better than this cloud business.
You really just can't help yourself, can you. And to answer your point, at least the new Transformers are still transforming robots, as opposed to being clouds.
Giant transforming robots adapted to giant transforming robot for TF movie. Giant planet-devouring humanoid adapted into huge cloud for FF movie. No difference at all....
Laurence Fishburne To Voice The Silver Surfer from newsarama huh.....but maybe that means that reports on galactus being a cloud were wrong too....or it was some high up exec saying that just to piss off fans....
