i just the followed the movie's design direction and i came up with this.

Well, that's,,,,,,different.

Really has kinda of an Aliens vibe to it, more than Devastator (who's somewhat Iconic among TFs).

Actually,,, Movie style gestalts, hmmmmmm

Well as controversial as this movie is it certainly HAS pushed the envelope of fan artists. And that, is a GOOD thing.

(Oh and comments crits? Very 'dirty', and I mean that in a good way, but it makes the 'whitespace' almost too stark. Try adding a back ground. And don't go crazy, smoke and a few toppled buildings, maybe change the color of the 'sky' to blue, overcast grey, or burning sunset orange? A Starscape might be too dark though.  )

Nice sketching...does give a nod to aliens...(because of the head and legs)...the shoulder gun is a nice addition...

 

Very interesting. I'd really like to see this sketch fleshed out even more. I think Devastator would be a great addition in a sequel.

Actually it looks like a modified version of Bonecrusher's arm.

I still think Devastator is possible, but not with all 6 bots. Just three, combined in a tripredacus/railracer-esque fashion would be more then enough to create a super giant.

 

your devestator reminds me of the cockroach alien from MIB

but other than that it looks good

I also thought of a Movie style Devastator. Maybe I should do it up one of these days. =) Thought mine isn't comprised of all 6, rather just 3 TFs.

 

Hmm, that is very kool and although it nods towards alien it still has the movie look in it. I mean the body structure and the proportions specially when compared and put in front of Prime. Really that is just a great sketch except i think the head is too slim and it needs a little more bulkiness or more additions to it. Well overall i think you did a great job and a little background would not hurt =P
