Commissioned Jazz for "the" Jazz fanatic/#1 fan out there. Only mod made was removing the doors from the leg sides and making them so they snap onto Jazz's back while in robot mode, and then back into their original slots for car mode. Used a new product (not yet available to the public) from Alclad's increasing paint selection called "Alclad Aqua Gloss" and it is hands down the best gloss clear I've ever experienced. Lays super thin, smooth and looks wet even when dry (minutes later) - only wish my photos can show it off better.

You're applying that clear coat with an airbrush, huh? Which brush are you using if you don't mind me asking?

just a simple Iwata HP-C, they are about $100 on ebay. Been using the same air brush since I've graduated high school (back in 91!hahah) which I got as a gift. it had some problems, and I upgraded to the same model.

    Gloss looks great.

Too bad all your great work is wasted on such a sh!tty mold. Actually I tke that back, the mold is ok untill one realizes it has barely any arms... T-rex much?

Nice work on those doors, if its okay with you can you post a tutorial on how you managed to fix those doors from legs to the back ? I would like to try that on my spare Jazz.

I've used one of those before, it's a great brush! I have a dual action paasche, but I may go for something like the Iwata to make life a little easier since the paasche isn't gravity fed. Thanks Mike!

You just unscrew the screws that hold the doors on and then plug them into holes that just happen to be conveniently placed on his back. I'm guess Mike did something different to add that professional touch like cut the pegs down and possibly glue the legs together

Great work on this man. I really like how that gloss turned out. Any reason why you didn't upgrade the hands while you were working on this guy? I've seen a few guys, including myself, add hands from a Doc Ock and a few other things but they always have to be removed for transformation
