Maybe I just haven't kept up to date with every TF that came out, but I don't remember an Osprey

Great stuff. Love seeing the evolution of the faces. Some of the original concepts were almost zombie-like :inquisiti

Seems the heads started off helmet-like in design, BB going through the most diverse revisions.

i wonder if they went any further into explaining the megatron head change, that really seemed late in the game..half the merch out there has the old head on it.

Very insightful pics...IMHO, I love that second red/white revision of Ratchet (one to the right). Even though I have yet to see the final version in action on the big screen, I would hope that Hasbro releases that early Ratchet as Inferno.:)

Also, Hasbro really needs to make a "making of" book with all those juicy movie production sketches and cgi renders.

Well that early Ratchet design did appear in the prequel comics (alongside Arcee) as Inferno.

I like how they started looking at the G1 heads and then started adapting them until they made something that had their own personal touch on them...YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH!!!

Nice! I really like all the designs for Jazz. The red Ratchet is pretty cool, but I'd say it make a better Redalert. Arcee I actually like, "Stryker" I dont think would have looked as cool on the big screen. I have to say, the early head designs for Optimus and Megatron look absolutely horrible (I like what we have now). Bumblebee's art isn't too bad.
I would love to see more of the artwork.
Anyone know when or if a book of these is coming out?

Bumblebee's first head design looks like wheelie. I have a bad feeling about this.

Since they've already okay'd the sequel for this movie, maybe the Arcee artwork is for that.

WOW that was movie Ratchets original color scheme? He looks so much better then the puke green they gave him! It's amazing what a good paint job can do to make a character more interesting.
