I thought I'd start a thread for those who are proud to collect the movie toys, since they get so much slack. I don't collect them all, sure some don't deserve it like the Arcee twins and what not, but I don't collect much of anything else either.

I have my G1 toys, Optimus of Whom I am most pround. Then I have Masterpiece Optimus, Megatron and Walmart Starscream. The only Universe I have are Ultra Class Powerglide and Onslaught, who I really don't feel go very well with the rest of my collection, but I'm going with it and keeping them. Besides that Movie Fracture is the closest that comes to the universe line.

So with that i declare that I like the movie line the best and although I don't get everylast mold that comes out I think they are better than anything other line in transformers right now. Who's with me?

It's definitely not my favorite line but there are some fantastic toys in it for sure!

Altough I have quite a number of TFTM/ROTF figures, I can't say it's my exclusively favorite line because I have favorites from each line that I have, e.g Alternity BB.

So one is supposed to be proud or ashamed that they like to collect a specific TF line?

I'm not really a big fan of the movie line. But there are a few that I like. I'm just a regular old fashioned G-1 fan.

I love the design aesthetic for the Movie toys, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying toys from other lines as well. I'm an equal opportunity collector.

The Movie line is definitely one of my favorites. I really like the aesthetic, which has been a refreshing change from all the G1-rehash in this franchise, and the engineering has generally been quite good as well. A number of the Movie molds, especially from the RotF line, have joined the ranks of my all-time favorite TF toys. I'm looking forward to Movie style figures continuing in the new unified TF line and also to seeing what's in store for TF3.

    This, pretty much.

I love the design and detail of the character models, and I think they make for some awesome-looking toys. I get burned out on their complexity and fragility sometimes though. I'm a big fan of Transformers in general, and that happily includes the movie toys.

I really like the movie line. It's the only line besides classics where I buy repaints.

It's not my favorite line, but I do like it enough to have a collection of them. Some movie toys really shine.

The RotF line got me into collecting. Full stop.

I went crazy on old Classics for a bit, and there are some Animated I just had to have, but the centerpiece of my collection, is and will remain for the foreseeable future, the RotF Decepticons. With Megatron leading the charge, and the Fallen gesturing impressively in the back.

Although my true love might turn out to be this crazy hybrid style Hasbro is pursuing. When Bludgeon was announced I pretty much realized that I was going to have to collect TFs now. When Movie Lockdown and Ratchet showed up homaging their Animated counterparts I was sold on them too. Sea Spray excites me in ways I don't understand. I totally dig it and am thinking of starting a fan club. :D

Movie stuff predominates my collection. Although I love me some Universe and Animated, this line was just addicting.

The ROTF toyline was a vast improvement over the first movie's, and it made my collection count explode.
