It's exactly these kind of scenes that will make the movie so interesting - Transformers transforming at high speed without missing a beat. Between that shot of Starscream flipping under the dam and what obviously happens on the highway, there is going to be a LOT to take in. I'm almost scared to blink :)

these pics alone completely justify the need for redesigning the TFs out of the G1 Boxes. and that's the best CG i have seen in my life. i smell SFX Oscars next February...

Note the black Porche Cayenne by Optimus' leg. Its front bumper looks a little funny, like the black camera car we say in a few "behind the scene pics."

The level of detail to Optimus and Bonecrusher is astounding. I knew ILM would do a fantastic job, but this is ridiculous! They're Transformers! And they look freaking real! Right down to the battle scars on the robot mode. Since seeing Optimus Prime, I've been on the fence about how he'll look in robot mode, running around and stuff, plus the flames, but it really is seamless.

Everything blends so well, the flames aren't even noticeable. And the robots! My god! Too freaking cool! COME ON JULY!

Well, there's no doubt the CGI will look very nice. Bonecrusher looks pretty cool as a robot. In that action pose, Prime looks very... plate-y? I like the paint scratches, etc, but... ::shrug:: I guess it's just a matter of personal taste at this point. I still have a problem with many of the designs not looking the way I'd like them to. From the shape to the flame job, Prime just looks weird to me. It looks off. I think with this quality level, they could have used more traditional designs and they'd look fantastic. Moot point, though. In any case, I'm glad there will be some nice daylight scenes. I'm tired of seeing CGI in the dark.

Like the designs or not, you gotta admit the way the CGI is integrated in the real world scenarios is nothing short of perfection.

Check this out -but there may more in there than you wanted to see.
Pretty much all the bots are displayed in that thread.

PS -most people with English as a first language don't understand big words like "approximative". :thumb

MY GOD. The CGI is simply gorgeous. I've never seen anything that looks that realistic. A lot of stills from movies using CGI (namely Star Wars Episode III) looked like they were photoshopped together, but this is just... WOW!

    Can't wait for July 4th.

My jaw hit the floor at the site of that pic. The cgi is unbelievable! I am gonna induce self hibernation (like Cartman did to pass time waiting for the Wii) in order to put up with the wait until 7.4.7.

So I am the only who thinks Prime's face is not right? I mean, compare it to other face shots. It looks like he has no face at all.

This stuff is really starting to grow on me a bit. I don't like the designs much but it does look like they'll look good in action at least.

It looks like Prime is getting ready to give bonecrusher a upper-cut or clothes line.. who wants to bet thats what happens?
