Best of the movie toys. I wish he were a larger class size though.

 

I don't want him to be a bigger size class, because that would just make him more expensive... I just want him to be the right size for the Voyager price point!  

This is a great mold... but yeah. WAAAY smaller than expected. For some reason, from all the earlier pics, I expected this figure to be BIG. Like at least the scale of a Cybertron Voyager, maybe Energon Bulkhead, or someone... but he's actually smaller than EVAC. Maybe around the same size as Cybertron Hotshot. Hmm.

I'm still anxious for this figure, but I'm a little disappointed with the small scale. Was hoping for a even little more bang for the buck.

I still hope that they'll make inscale movie characters   (Brawl/Megatron/Prime leaderclass, Blackout and Starscream supreme class  ).

Thats one of the nicest looking Transformers ive ever seen. Come to the shelves.

 

I'm really liking this figure, but the Rotor weapon thing on helicopter Transformers is just lame.

 

toys like this are the reason i wanted a movie to come out, i really cant fault it on aesthetics at all. and no matter what i think of bay ive gotta admit his design team really do know how to make a decepticon. 

 

I agree. get in a good melle and loose the abilty to fly. Bummer.

it's would be nice to see his in flight in robot mode. Much cooler.

 

any pics of him with a voyagers classics? i don't have mirage and i'm not going to get him so i'm not certain of this scale, i've heard mirage is the tallest deluxe classics there is thought. neways, blackout looks sweet.

 

Those rotors on his back and the general black/grayish look give him kinda cucaracha look, no? could fit nicely with the Insecticons collection if he had more purple and transparent yellow parts in him…

maybe with Brawl and Bonecrusher (are they even planning to issue this movie character as a toy?!) they'll make a nice trio.

 

I like the chopper, but I'm still not convinced of the greatness of his bot mode. Looks awkward to me compared to Evac.

 

Mirage is a full head taller than Starscream. Comapred to Mirage, Blackout is at least Classic Op size or bigger.

I generally don't buy many Decepticons, but I don't think I can pass this one up.

Not to be a jerk, but contrary to what the news article on the front page says, we HAVE seen Blackout in package before.

Still looks awesome, though.

 

I wish he was larger and had a better paint scheme (i.e. black and teal like nemesis prime) but the mold still has a place in my collection. I hope we get a repaint and a larger option.

 

Needs more colors to offset all that blue and black.
