Hi all. I have a question. I'm a big fan of the movieverse, but find the general release figures to be lacking. I've only recently become aware of some of the 3rd party movie figures that exist, and I'm hoping some of you can point me in the direction of some of the more accurate looking ones. I picked up the WJ OS Evasion mode Prime with battle damage as a start, where should I look next? Anxiously awaiting updates on the DOTM Megatron they teased.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret since you're new to the boards. There is this feature on every single thread in the top right corner called "watch thread." If you clock it you'll receive notifications anytime the thread is updated. Given that I am watching all of the 3rd Party Movie figure threads I see that you have commented on every single one of them.

To answer your original question, you pretty much found all of the current projects. The biggest company in movie figures is Dream Factory so just watch each of their threads and you should be covered.

    Hope this helps! :thumb

I may be new to these boards, but I've been a member of forums for a very long time and know how they work quite well. I'm going to let you in on a little secret now.... commenting one's enthusiasm or support for projects isn't exclusive to certain individuals, so thanks for your input but you've got no grounds to comment or criticize my activity with snarky remarks. I know how to follow a thread, I wanted to actually voice my support for these since companies such as these tend to see these threads and gauge interest based on responses.

I wouldn't expect too much in the way of 3P movie love yet. They're all focused on G1 MPs, and other shows have gotten maybe a few bones thrown to them at best (Beast Gorira is one of the very few 3P BW toys, Animated only got the Mario Bros. parodies and never got an Omega Supreme from a 3P despite it being a massive fan want, Armada/Energon/Cybertron have nada, etc.).

Basically, G1 is what you're gonna get for days, with very little based on anything else.

Dude, I'm gonna be honest here, I've been here just under 15 years, and I thought that the only way to watch a thread was by clicking the "watch thread" box when you go to post in the thread.

Thank you for teaching this old dog a new trick. :lol

I was kind of an asshole to you. I apologize for that. I really am. I totally understand supporting projects that you have an interest in. I make plenty of posts like those myself. I shouldn't have been so snarky to you. That's my bad.

This is one of the best communities on the internet and I hope my rude comment does not discourage you from being more active on these boards. Everyone here is really supportive and I always love the types of conversations you can strike up about a fandom that you love. Welcome to TFW!

It's all good man. I've been out of the TF scene for a while, used to have almost every Hasbro movie release, and I'm getting sucked back in by these awesome 3p designs. No hard feelings whatsoever.

Glad to hear your back in the Transformer game. I myself got back into collecting when the first movie came out in 2007. It's hard to believe that it's already been 10 years. These 3rd party figures definitely have me excited and I'm really hoping that they turn out great and encourage more companies to jump into the movie universe. There is definitely a market for it and I think it would be a huge missed opportunity if companies didn't offer us collectors high quality movie figures.

I'm excited for the leader class Lockdown from unique toys. I loved his character in AOE but the deluxe does him no justice. I did buy both oversized versions though. I really want to know what's going on with the Prime/ Dino combiner from Matrix Prime Toys.
