I read the Ghosts of Yesterday and first two comics (3rd sold out before I got to it), and I was curious about this Allspark. Is the Allspark connected directly to the past, present and future of Cybertronian life or is it all life? I wasn't sure by the way that the Bumblee and Optimus explained it, albiet briefly.

On top of that, would removing the Allspark from Earth cause humanity to go through the same degradation as Cybertron if the Allspark was taken back to Cybertron?

I haven't read the novel yet, but I doubt the Earth's fate is tied to the Allspark like Cybertron's.

The Allspark seems to have created life on Cybertron; but it has only been on Earth for about 100 years.

I think the Allspark is more or less the version of a god. It not only created them, but allowed them to evolve into cybernetic organism. So they are born and they can die.

Looks to me like it's a hybrid of the Matrix and Vector Sigma. It probably just gives life to inanimate devices or machinery, things in which Sparks can strive.

Hmmn...Maybe the Autobots and Decepticons were machinery left by the Quintessons?

I thought it had been here longer. It had been here awhile before Megatron found it, then he fell in the ice. He stayed frozen for quite a while before he and the allspark were discovered about 100 years ago by Witwicky.

Besides, everybody knows it was a Jagaroth spaceship exploding on take-off that started life on Earth (See DR WHO: CITY OF DEATH for the truth!!) and not the Allspark! ;)
