Here is my line of movie autobot repaints. This is the culmination of almost 6 months of on-and-off work. I hope you like it!

EDIT: I finally uploaded a set of photoshopped pics. Even the transformation GIF was updated. This was my first time to edit pics to look better. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks guys! Has anyone tried looking at the transformation GIF? I don't know why, but the program I used mucks up the resolution on the picture. Can anyone recommend a (free) program that can make better looking GIFs?

 

free? well, you could grab photoshop for 30day "free" trial...

 

hmm.. i do have photoshop, but i had no idea that it could make animated GIFs. thanks!

 

Not sure which version you have but cs2 and 3 make the best gifs around. If you have < cs3 use image ready. in Cs3, click windows > animation (then you'll see your frame bar appear) from there...its easy.

I have CS 2. I used it to make another transformation GIF, but my old one looks just slightly better. Thanks for the tip, though.

 

thanks! i'm also really proud of the jazz because i really didn't like the mold at first. the color i used actually came about by accident. i was forced to look for other paint to use because the tamiya acrylics that i first applied didn't go on very well.

thanks! i think that the lighting is a little uneven. wasn't able to use my light tent because it was too small for the group. good luck with your project too!

Great work all around! I love the transformation pictures and you're GIF is pretty cool too. Did you paint the little black pin stripes on Bumblebee? They look good. I only ask because they're not on the individual BB pics as far as I can tell.

 

thanks! yup i did paint the little stripes on BB. they were done with some masking tape and a really fine sharpie.

i think all of them received some additional detail paintwork/touchups after the individual photos were taken and posted.

 

I like the dark scheme you put on them making it look more light the movie

 

You did a nice job on these guys   The animation is cool (aren't they fun to do?  ), your paint apps are good . . . all around great job man  

 

Ratchet needs some stickers and BB's windows should be black. I can't believe with all the customs to date people always forget that detail, very obvious. You noticed Jazz's windows but forgot BB's...ha!  

PS: Awesome work there, very very tempting to snatch them up!
