Yup lol. Not old enough to drink though. At 16, you can though.

Wait, if you're not even 16, who did you deploy with?

In Germany, the legal age for drinking beer/wine, without a parent or guardian present, is 16. You know what to do. :D

Pretty sure 16 in private places, 18 to drink in public/bars.

Maybe it's just Austria, but I know in some European countries people under the legal drinking age can drink as long as they're supervised by a parent/guardian.

That's pretty cool, you guys at Kirch Goens? My brother was stationed there and loved it. Oops, just checked the google sat maps and that base has been razed guessing you guys are Ramstein?

Ah Ramstein, the memories abound! I actually just moved from that area a few months ago. Be sure to check out the mall on Ramstein, the Java Cafe on ROB and the paintball fields on Volgelweh. Though, don't stay on base too much, Germany is an amazingly beautiful nation and the people are really great if you try to get to know them. Also, learn as much German as you can. Most Americans over there make up their minds that they won't learn a language when they're living in a foreign country and then think its the worst place ever.

If you can make it over to Stuttgart, definitely do it. It's so much more beautiful than the Kaiserslautern area. I actually graduated from high school at Patch a few years back.

OMG my dad is in ROB lol. We are doing all of those things, exploring the country and learning German. I have seen that Java Cafe too, and the mall as well. I can't believe somewhere on here has been deployed in the same area!
