    Judging by the thickness of the tail i say rat.

    and its snout is all round and not pointy so its a field mouse

    I thought it was a mouse because of the ears but the tail is really long so that's why I wasn't sure.

    well the only conclusion for this is..his father was a rat and his mother was a field mouse so you get a rodent hybrid

    How did it die?

    Did it drown in that bucket?

    If it did, I'd say mouse, because rats can swim. (Mr. Wiskers swam once in my sink)

    It depends on it's placement, if it's outside, it's a rat, if it's inside it's a mouse. Is it inside or outside?

    I went into the garage last night and I saw it dart away. After I calmed down from freaking out I looked all over the garage for it. I couldn't find it so I figured it escaped the garage the way it came in. It wasn't until this morning when I went to clean my windshield I found it in the bucket.

    Rats have small ears in relation to the size of their head, that's how you can tell the difference. That's a mouse.

    Rattrap was right!!!!! and im fairly certain that is some sort of rat asi have never seen a mouse with a tail that thick or long
