It was an X-box. I heard somewhere the three of them set out on a world-wide adventure, ala Signal flare in Cybertron.

 

Now I'm imagining all the 'allsparked' machines going on a road trip in the SUV, all bobbing their heads to "What is Love".  

 

I want Mountain Dew bot!

 

The "Dispensor" name was mentioned as a passing joke by one of the Hasbro folks at Botcon during a panel. Me? I'd love to see it, too. as for Nokiabot...there's 2 Real Gear phones, that'll do.

They would be pretty cool to have, It would be a great little collector base figure, but I remember the custom one that I see on ebay and it was kick ass, wonder what ever happen to it.

 

This is less of a rumour than it is wishful thinking IMO.

And as for the one on ebay, I imagine someone bought it, perhaps.

 

What's so all fired special about the Mountain Dew Machine Mech? Sure there's camp, but I just don't think he'd look good as either Autobot or more likely Decepticon. He's just a fun extra included in the film to sell the point that the Allspark makes life.

Hell, I'd rather see Hasbro focus on more new mold characters for the Allspark power line from the Game then the friggen Mountain Dew machine. Give us Scrapper Drones and Mixmaster Drones not to mention triple changing Shockwave. (He was a triple changer right? I still have yet to own the game, buying an X-Box just for the version he's in isn't top priority for me at the moment.)

So yeah, Scrapper, Mixmaster and Shockwave I'd buy, Dew-Bot/Dispensor, hells no.

 

That's s stupid thing to say. That's like saying "as for Mountain-Dew-bot, there's already a Pepsi Prime, that'll do" It's not the same thing. Or like saying we don't need a Leader BC because there's already a Deluxe one. (Not that I want one, but I know some people do)

Nokia-Bot needs to have the little horns, and the four legs and NEEEEEDS a missle and chaingun. Not to mention that little face! 

 

I'd love a Dew-Bot but doubt it'll actually happen. Nokia bot? Meh, crush a cell phone, put a G1 rocket launcher on it and you'll essentially get the same effect.

What an incredibly ignorant response. How's about all you who want a Dew-bot just smash a mountain dew machine and give it a gun and call it a day? Not even close to the same effect.

Why does everyone hate Nokia-bot but love the Dew-bot? He was on for like 2 seconds wheras Nokia-bot had like two minutes all to himself. Plus, Nokia-bot could also bring the RGs back, whereas DB really doesn't fit anywhere.

You're right, it's not the same thing. A cell phone is a cell phone.

On the other hand, a cab-over in a Pepsi deco is NOT the same thing as a Mountain Dew machine.

Did anyone else notice that the Dew-Bot was shooting can's of Mountain Dew?

 

Come to think of it, they already made an Optimus Prime toy a long time ago, but for whatever reason, they didn't think it'd be an acceptable representation of the Optimus Prime in the movie. What a waste of good plastic.

Just because they made a cell phone robot doesn't mean they can't make another one. They made Bumblebee, so why bother making Jazz and Barricade if they're all cars?

 

On the HD-DVD version of the movie it says, "Introducing Dispensor the Dew-Bot."

Make of that what you will.

Actually there was this big gallery of concept CG released a while back featuring possible designs and WiP pics of bots from the movie, and the "Dewbot" was one of them with the label "Dispensor" iirc. There was also a port-a-potty bot...though I wouldn't wanna play with that...

I wonder if he was covered by Microsoft's extended warrenty
