My first MOTU repaint! I probably won't do too many of these because of how fast they sell out but I was glad to finally get one from Toys R Us on sale. I wanted to paint Skeletor in my style and I like how he turned out. I used my usual flat black Krylon base coat then dry brushed with Testors acrylic steel, shades of blues, purples, and yellows.

I like the effect you give him, its more like that roll in the dirt type of vibe, but thats just how I see it.

Krylon works on this plastic? Ive used acrylics because I didn't think I'd would dry and stay tacky.

Oops! I left out the acrylic gun metal for the head, armor, and the loin cloth to avoid the tacky parts.

Awesome stuff, man! I have a couple of these in the works myself (one with a resculpted face and hood), the other with a custom weapon......along with a He-Man, She-Ra, and Hordak. It looks great and I really love the drybrushing and dirty feel of him now. And thanks for confirming that Krylon works well on this. I was debating on whether to go all out and completely repaint or just try and match up the colors on mine.

The krylon works on the body and limbs but not on the soft plastics like the hood and armor. So I would coat those parts first and then use the krylon.
