Brown People Drive Old Cars: Is My 4-Year-Old Racist?
No. The kid made an observation and said what he found out. And a freakin' 4 year old can't make the decision to not like people because of race.. They can't think like that. Yet.
Article says far more about the mother than it does about the child.
Damn racist kids. They're what made Bill Cosby quit everything forever.
Took the words right out of my mouth...
I read the first two paragraphs or so, gave up once I saw how long the article was, and came to this conclusion:
4 year olds cannot be racist. They are too young to think on that kind of level.
I agree, not only does it make the readers question about those two. The family is what will come next if this gets out of hand.
Wow, I have nothing to say.
Except that I guess?
Maybe if they got off their ass and worked harder they could get a better car... Just kidding..
Yeah the mother is reading way too much into it. The kid isn't making a negative thing out of it. It was merely an observation like saying "Daddy is not as good of a driver as mommy" (I was going to do it the other way but that would be sexist and stereotypical)
The mother is the racist.
isn't that what GD is about though? posting when you really don't have anything to say.
this is ridiculous,
umm damn just damn what a pointless read
When I started going to kinder I noted the kids were darker colored than me and just assumed some people were born brown, others black, and some white.
Then teachers taught me the horrible truth about racism iVi
Did you even read the article?
The child is biracial and made an observation, then made a statement that the mom was concerned about.
