Sari is half human. Just because someone isn't 100% something, that doesn't necessarily make them 0% that thing.

 

I am surprised no one mentioned Misha! She was a pretty good human character in the U.T. From what I remember she wasn't too crazy or annoying, actually funny and a decent enough counterpart to Kicker.

 

It's Spike and Sparkplug from G1 or Jack from TFP imo. The rest annoy the hell out of me.

I don't understand this thread. The OP implies that we should all naturally find all humans in every TF series annoying, but that in the goodness of our hearts we can learn to accept the odd one or two. Um no.

I quite like most humans in the franchise, so the word "tolerable" is not relevant to me. Sure, I personally find the kids in RiD and A/E/C little anime shits, but just about everyone else I'm cool with (yes, even Miko).

This thread should have been "which humans do you like and dislike?" or similar.

 

Buster. He got drawn into the war, tried to get out of it, mostly at the wishes of his father, but got drawn back in again. And then Spike got dragged into it to help rescue him. Add in Jessie and O and I think that little group of humans was the best and well-rounded of the franchise. Even GB Blackrock was done pretty well. Then it got silly with Circuit Breaker.  

But since I can only choose one I'll stick to Buster, with the others buzzing around him.

 

I'd probably have to say Jack is my favorite. The humans from Armada weren't too bad either. After growing up watching Beast Wars, I just found it weird to see humans in every Transformers series after G1. It's not so much that I find them annoying, I just don't want to see them all the time.

 

Most tolerable humans? Probably the human characters from Animated and Prime (Even Miko, who I don't find as annoying as everybody says she is).

My favorite character would probably have to be Sari. She was funny, she actually did things other than be the token human, and I found her to be adorable at times.

Which may explain why she isn't an annoying human sidekick.

I know. I personally don't hate humans in TF stories as many people seem to do.  I mean for crying out loud is it that much of a crime for a human to have a role?

Me too. What's ironic is that some people don't want humans to be the center of attention yet at the same time when the humans aren't developed enough they complain about them not having much to do. There's a thing called balencing roles people.
