As I think we all know, right now you can go into most stores in the us that sell transformers and find a butt-load of mudflaps/tuner mudflaps. he is a truely epic chelfwarmer, yes, but is the greatest example of the phenomenon, or are there greater. Unicron perhaps?
    armada lazerbeak maybe?
I remember a time when the TRU had real problems getting rid of R.I.D. prime and megatron.

In my area Armada Smokescreen pegwarmed way more than Laserbeak.

As for greatest of all time, that's hard to say.

    TFTM Jungle Bonecrusher and Camshaft.

I also remember Walmart having walls of Cybertron Primus boxes in 2007 at $40 a pop.

Picked up a Movie 2007 Mudflap (the yellow Erector - lol - homage) a month or two ago that I'd been giving the eye to every time I've gone into my local TRU since like December 2007

Sideways for me. Guy's the biggest pegwarmer at my Wal-Mart.

BW Transquito, Drillbit, and Scavenger come to mind. People had been finding them well into Energon's run. Saw a BM mega Cheetor once at the same time as Drillbit, too.

Animated Sentinel Prime seems to be the only animated deluxe hanging around these days, unless you're at TRU and happen to come across Arcees/Ratchets.

Right now, right alongside those mudflaps and skids, is bumblebee.

He's not really a shelfwarmer but there so many different versions of bee right now it looks like a solid wall of black and yellow.

BW Transquito immediately springs to mind as well. Energon Ironhide and the repaint sat around for awhile here. There are still remnants of Animated Wave 1 and 2 Deluxes, Voyagers and Activators at quite a few places here, and there have been RoTF Rampages on the pegs literally since May 30th of last year. Never moved. About 2 inches of dust on them.

I think we need to make the distinction between the US/Canada/Australia and the UK.

For us, WITHOUT DOUBT it was the 07 movie legends Megatron. He can still be seen in some TRUs, Entertainers and Tescos 3 years after he was first released! That's some going.

Also, ROTF Deluxe Wheelie. Good grief he was everywhere.

I'm pretty sure my grandchildren will be seeing Gathering at The Nemesis sets at TRU; and I don't have kids yet.

Other than dumb TRU sets I'd probably give the award to either TFTM Camshaft or RoTF Deluxe Wheelie or Tuner Mudflap. I haven't been collecting that long so my experience doesn't go back to lines before TFTM.

I saw Transquito in a TRU as late as 2003. There have been several good examples in recent years, but that's one I'll always remember.

    Of all time...?

My vote goes to any incarnation of the G1 Swindle mold. I remember tons of G2 Swindles sitting on the shelf at TRU in 1994-95, and then the same thing happened with RID Rollbar: my local Wal-Mart had a bunch of them as late as Spring 2004. Is there anyone who was around during the G1 heyday that can attest to G1 Swindle being a pegwarmer? (I was 12 at the time, but I wasn't paying attention to things like that)

Tuner Mudflap is the worst case I've ever seen (they are EVERYWHERE), but i've only been collecting for a few years now.

In recent history, as that's all I have fresh in my mind at the moment:

a tie between ROTF Wheelie and TRU Ultra Countdown.
