    Yeah, way to go pitting two major contenders against each other in the first round. G1 and Animated should have gotten a "bye" in the first round or put them up against RiD and Armada.

    The top three should be G1, Beast Wars and Animated. There are no other options as far as fandom is concerned because the other series will always be in the minority.

    This tournament is full of fail.

    Voted for g1 mainly because of character design. I've just never liked the look of the animated line, and to have tfs that mirrored actual vehicles of the day was just... better. Story and writing is stronger in animated, but so would've g1 if it had 20 years of growth to work with.

    I'm not surprised that G1 won, with decades of nostaligia power behind it, but considering the early lead combined with a loss by only six votes out of 144, I'm giving the win to Animated in spirit for 'beating the spread'.

    Animated probably would have won in the electoral college. :D

    After seeing the lead Animated had at one point, I'm surprised G1 won.
