1985 Vintage G1 Transformer GRIMLOCK Dinobot Boxed 100% on eBay, also Generation 1, Transformers, Action Figures, Toys Games (end time 03-Feb-09 18:08:07 GMT) Ouch!
This jerk also recently sold a KO Reflector posing as an original: 1986 Vintage G1 Transformer "REFLECTOR" MINT Boxed 100% - eBay (item 200298296892 end time Jan-15-09 13:57:06 PST) Check out his other auctions. He has more KO Dinobots posted: eBay Seller: severn007: items on eBay.com And are those Transformerland.com images he's using? Picture theft is pretty slimy too.
Wow, looking at this guy's past auctions, he's quite the scam artist, going to efforts other scammers don't waste their time with. Here, he beat up a bootleg Mirage box to make it look old, I guess: 1984 Vintage G1 Transformer "MIRAGE" Boxed 100% MINT - eBay (item 200299421968 end time Jan-18-09 14:19:06 PST) It looks as if he took a bootleg Wheeljack (cream "white" coloring, unbelievably mint condition), either beat up the bubble or found an original and ditched the box. Notice too he does the Private Auction thing here, typical of his KO auctions: 1980-82 G1 Transformer " WHEELJACK " Hasbro / TAKARA - eBay (item 200299425234 end time Jan-18-09 14:30:11 PST)
Dig and yee shall find, I thought he was just a noob that had purchased a lot but now its obvious he is a scam artist shame
hell, i paid a couple hundred a few years ago for a KO mechabot-1...gotta love that BLINGY chrome....
Well I've just bought a KO Swoop form him which I was desperate for, and the guy has 100% feedback, until today when I get an email warning me it's a KO. I knew it was and I didn't care, but now people are saying he's a scammer? Someone please advise ;-)
If you knew what you were getting then it doesn't sound like you got ripped off. I would imagine if you were unaware you might not feel that way. Some of his auctions are outright lies (see my previous post), but others at least make an attempt to disclose these are KOs.
Hi there, if your happy with your purchase thats cool however the price is very inflated, the guys that used to sell these have now moved over to EBID and you can pick one up sealed in box for about £45 which I would assume is a lot cheaper than the one you got. Your fully within your rights to ask for your money back as the guy is trading as a business for all intents and purposes. Good luck! Andy
Correct me if I am wrong, but from what my memory servers me is that original G1 items came packaged in Styrofoam NOT vacu-formed bubbles on cardboard...that was reserved for Minibots if I am not mistaken. Regardless, if he is selling as ORIGINALS in opened box then he is full of it.
