I can across this earlier today while doing a random eBay trawl and was wondering, is there anyone out there dumb enough to pay for this?

Transformers MYSTERY OF CONVOY Sleep Mode Super Rare - eBay (item 280604022612 end time Dec-21-10 01:34:21 PST)

Looking at the item it appears that the seller is listed in Japan so they may of been entering a Yen amount, but that seems like it would be quite low for Sleep mode Optimus.

I was just wonder, what do people think, is this an honest mistake? Have you seen anything going for such a ridiculous price in the past? Would you pay so much over the going rate if it was the only option available?

A bit more than 70% cheaper!!

350/12600 * 100 = 2.7 recurring freaking percent of the auction price to buy at retail!

I saw this the other day and after taking a look at it (I thought at first it might be a case of MP Primes or something), the only thing that could make sense to me is the price was supposed to be listed in yen. I cant see how anyone would think that one MP Sleep Mode Prime could be worth anywhere close to that much. Even taking a zero off the end, it'd still be 4-5 times the price anywhere else.

If I asked $1,000,000 for a MOSC G1 Wheelie, it doesn't mean that's how much a MOSC G1 Wheelie is worth. Now if all the MOSC G1 Wheelies sold for $1,000,000, then that's a different story.

gotta be wrong price and not the most expensive figure ever seen on Ebay if it is.

I know there was an AFA G1 Omega Supreme for $25,000 a few years back.

my best guess its a currency conversion error.

I'm guessing he meant $126 but the shipping says otherwise.

for me it was car robots brave maximus at 350$+

and for as much as i loved having him in my collection ,

with this old fanboy getting up in his years the thing was turning into a white elephant gift for me and between the finger pinching joints and the weight of the figure i actually feared i would either break a joint in my hand over time as i got older and i got arthritis as it is

i managed to find him a good home though with a fellow collector in kentucky though

    Ebay:
This seller is known to not convert his prices from Yen to USD since he is listing them in Japan.

There was a topic about him a week ago about another same error.

    Just did a quick conversion;

    12,600 Yen = €113, or $150 - that seems about right...
