Wow, until reading through this thread, I had no idea that Megatron blasted Prime through the chest after stabbing him! I thought it was just his insides exploding from all the trauma!

That having been said, that part is very emotional... very sad, but now that I know it was the result of Megatron getting in one final kill-shot, it's even more-so.

Arrival of the Autobots is such a powerful scene with orchestra that makes well emotional.

    Bumblebee's Capture is sad too.

Not primes death because i thought it wasn't sad.

Either sam yelling for ratchet when BB was legless, or when Sams dad was yelling at him that they would leave together (from the mid-eastern alleyway)

Definetly BB getting captured by sector 7

    The Autobots arrival

And when Iron hide brings the remains of Jazz to Optimus. not so much for the "aw jazz" line. but from body language of both IH and Ratchet who just wanders aimlessly in the background

I would have to say when Prime first spoke to sam and all the people in the theater cheering and clapping was pretty awsome in the first one. It may not be emotional but to hear peter cullen speak as prime again gave me goosebumps. The arivial was awsome also.

The second one would have to be prime dying. To me it was unexpected and just thought about when i first saw the animated film when i was a kid and tearing up when he died. Didnt cry this time but it was sad.

By far, BB capture. Hell I get a tear or two to my eye when I listen to that song from the Score. To see BB get captured like that, and showing how much Sam cared to try and save him...with the music in there...just perfect.

Prime getting killed from the part where he gets stabbed to where he hits the ground, all the sounds get distorted to distant echos from the scene.

Prime getting revived, having the theme play along with it, just pure awesome.

I admit that even that scene with Sams parents in Egypt was very emotion filled too.

The score from the first movie alone is just powerful. Arrival to Earth, playing that scene with surround sound of them arriving is just brilliant!

BB capture, too. When Sam ran to Bumblebee, Bumblebee must have known that Sam really likes him and wants to save him. Bumblebee must have been happy to see it. That was the moment that a Transformer has known that a strong bond between him and a human was build. It was not a mere painful scene. Rather, a happily crying scene.

The movies really handle Bumblebee's body language well. The TFs in general are spectacularly animated in this regard. They've all got their own unique weight and posture, and it all reflects on how they move and emote.

My two personal favourite moments are some of the more nuanced ones.

The first movie had Mikaela's "breather" during the Mission City battle. It was short, but powerful. All hell's breaking loose, and she's suddenly in a warzone she didn't sign up for. It's quite reasonable for the girl to have a nervous breakdown. But 'Bee gives her a nod of encouragement, and she steels her nerves and guns it.

I really like that moment because it seems that all too often in blockbuster action movies, ordinary people get dragged into extraordinary circumstances, and they answer the call as if they were born to do it. This moment definitely made her seem more human and real, in this regard.

The second for me is Skids' "wake-up call" in RotF, when Mudflap gets eaten by Devastator. While he spent most of the movie ragging on his l'il bro, this scene made it really clear how important Mudflap was to him. While he seemed to treat the war lightly beforehand, it was at this moment that he truly gained a sense of the destruction, and this moment was his call to arms.

Don't really get emotional over the scenes. However, I get peeved. Esp at the Fallen's Death, what a whimp.

This could have been vastly improved had Mudflap actually died.

I felt bad for Ravage. REALLY bad. Poor little guy :(  Same with Kickback being ripped in half. What did he ever do to Sam?

EDIT: When Sam was yelling at BB telling him that he didnt need him I felt bad for him. He just saved Sam's life, then the mom yells at him and says she doesnt like him, then his excitement about college is crushed. His life just sucked at that time.

Yeah, BB seems to get all sorts of emotional. I mean, look at how he reacted when Sam died. He had that look like, "my friend is gone, and I failed to keep him safe".

I gotta say the moment in ROTF with Sam & his parents in the desert.

"This is not a discussion, you're my son!"

And when his father finally let him go, he shook Sam's sholders and told him, "You come come back to us!"

Sam's father (Forget the actor's name) is a really good actor, I've always thought. I could imagine, that's how a real father would act if put in that situation.
