So, out of either film, which one moment moved you the most? I do plan on putting up a poll as soon as I hear some picks, I have three already in mind but there could be more.

Mine has to be Bumblebee getting captured by S7. While some Prime moments in ROTF are damn near close, this one was beautiful. The music was superb, you really felt compassion for Bumblebee from the look on his face, and Sam's reaction really showed a lot of heart and character. And did I mention the music? A masterfully done scene.

I agree on the BB thing. First movie's emotional moments > ROTF's emotional moments IMHO.

The scene where Sam died had some potential, but it was incredibly long, and by the time it ended, I was thanking God for ending the pain.

For me, I loved the scene during ROTF in which Sam comes back from Robot Heaven and has a little touching moment with Mikaela. I'm a sucker for romance (idk why?) so I thought that scene was pretty emotional.

The capture of Bumblebee scene from the first one. Though Prime's death in RotF is a somewhat close second. The music is the part that makes Bumblebee's seen more emotional.

BB getting captured and getting his legs blown off in the first movie were pretty emotional but Prime's death scene in RotF topped both ten-fold.

I mean as if getting stabbed through the chest wasn't enough, but then hearing Megatron's fusion cannon charge up and fire at more then point blank range RIGHT THROUGH PRIME'S CHEST. I watched it again recently and it still shocks me at how brutal and emotional that scene was.

Protoman, sorry for not being clear, but I meant the live action movies.

I agree, Prime's death was well done. The shot of him falling to the ground was realy impressive. I also thought his revial was very powerful, but I still think the BB scene was breathtaking.

Sam's death (I Thought it was pulled off decently, not great but not bad either0

Sam and his parents in Egypt (Sad moment right there.)

Prime's death (Not to make you teary-eyed, but it was sad)

BB's capture (Same as prime. Gotta love BB :D )

Primes revival is even more emotional when you hear the clear music played in it.

Though I think the scene where Jetfire sacrifices himself for optimus to use his parts was very emotional. Especially thanks to how powerful the music was at that moment. Though I do think a lot of other scenes got me. Like Prime transforming to confront megaton, Him preventing jazz from saving bumblebee and when BB got his legs blown off. If you look at the top left of the screen you see people watching the thing with BB struggling to get off the crushed truck.

Bumblebee's capture from the first movie, to me.

    Perhaps. Anything wrong with that?

If there is, say so in monosyllabic words. Our small, feeble-minded, Bay-loving brains can't register big words. DURR HURR.

You can even make out as he says "Sam", reaching out for help but Sam is powerless to help him.

Simmons in thong reminded me of the DOA Beach Volleyball calendar my mom took away from me back in the day. I miss that calendar.

    A hearty tear was shed.

I thought Jetfire's sacrifice was totally UN-emotional. For him, maybe it was, but for no one else in the movie to even say a word about it, that's showing a lot of respect.

Primes death, considering a great majority of the audience wasn't expecting that at all. And ofcourse, in Tf1 it was BB being captured and having his legs blown off by Starscream!

huh? I'm just saying I don't see how anyone can get sad with these characters, they really have to personality to care for them. In contrast to when Prowl and Ratchet got completely fucked up in the original movie, that made me sad :(
