What is the most anticipated UNANNOUNCED game of 2009? You're probably asking yourself, is strscrm high or just incredibly stupid? I can assure you that I'm not high. So, what do I mean by the most anticipated unannounced game? Well, recently a new trend that's present in the game industry is to announce a game just a few months before its actual release. In other words, they tell us about a game that we didn't know existed then, drop it in our eager labs just a few short months later. Its like they made a game in just two or three months, which is utter madness. In reality, the game has actually been in development for two plus years, and they have been able to keep it's existance a complete secret for the majority of its development cycle, which is still complete and utter madness. Really, in this day and age of instant news at the end of our fingertips, for a company to keep it a secret without any hint of its existance is truly remarkable. Case in point, Wario Land Shake It! for the Wii. The game was announced by Nintendo and then almost one month to the day later, it was released in Japan. In the states, it was released about two months after its initial announcement. Another title, Street Fighter IV. When the initial teaser trailer was released, the ink trailer featuring Ken and Ryu, it was October 2007. Gamers said that they didn't want Capcom to rush it. A 2010 release date was fine by many gamers. Now the AAA title will be released in under a month from now. That's less than a year and a half from its initial announcement. Now that's fast. So, what will be the most anticipated unannounced game of 2009? What game will blow us away that we'll probably find out about at GDC or E3 and be playing by Christmas?
