I was just about to post pages 1-7 of issue #11, as I already had those, but I guess there is no need now.
I for one am glad we never got to that cheesy Superman-Crisis mockup cover. I mean, with issue #14 we would have had the marriage of Optimus and Elita, if Brad Mick's previous cartoony storylines are anything to go by.
What I'd like to see are the final issues of War Within - Ages of Wrath, and of the Energon Comics. While I have a pretty good idea of how Ages of Wrath would have ended (since it's set in the past, and Furman hinted at someone dying in the last issue) but to this day I am still anxious to find out what Alpha-Q and Levitacus were planning...
those are all pretty old.
so was the stuff from don's deviantart, but I think that was at least the first time those were seen inked.
I'm not sure if this exactly counts as news since all those pages were, at one point or another, posted online within the first year or so after DW went kaput (and I'm pretty sure that some of those color pages were colored by a fan, though I could be wrong). But still, it's great to see so much unpublished DW stuff gathered together in one convenient place!
A lot of these I've never seen before, especially the one where Prime saved Alpha Trion. Man. I miss this run so bad.
These are new to me. Thanks for posting them!
No prob man! I wonder where the next DW story arc was heading?
Just a friendly warning, I said just that in the other thread and got censored by the TFW2005 News team. Don't really see why they have a problem with us pointing out these pics have been around before.
Man, I miss Dreamwave.
The TFwiki has a lot of info about it! Found it a few months ago. Lemme find a link...
Edit: here ya go, Unreleased Dreamwave issues - Transformers Wiki
Those pages aren't in the link are they. Definitely post away, I'd love to see those!
Thanks for the link!
Man I wish I could see the pages that Wiki is describing.
All this re-emergence of unpublished DW material is making my heart ache again.
I just wish that DW could have somehow wrapped up their storylines in some satisfactory manner before they went bust. Now we will forever wonder what could have been in their unfinished comics.
Sure, looking back on the DW stuff now highlights their cartoon-oriented stories, but it was glorious at the time it was released.
*weeps at would could have been*
I agree. The lack of closure makes my heart hurt.
There you go, but keep in mind they have inserted speech bubbles and parody text (as you can see I wasn't the only one who thought Mad Brick was going for a G1 Movie rework in the comics). It was written by Brendocon at Transfans.
