    Hmph..I was all gung-ho for the show until I read that. That's not exactly the kind of stuff I wanna see, but I'll give it its fair chance anyway.

    Spinning = Transforming?
    I know people hated the morphing in Beast Machines, but at least it IMPLIED a transformation of form.

    I don't mind stylized...but twirly transformations just sounds a bit too daft for me.

    Eh, could be plausible, not enough proof. Dunno who the hell Augie is, could just be bullshit. Either way, that's not enough information to turn me off. Still eagerly excited. Besides, can't really judge something until you actually see it.

    And I loved Teen Titans so it's just a plus.

    Teen Titans look is a positive. Transformation would save time from the long fillers use in the past three for Prime to combine to super mode, or multiple transformers transforming. A quick spin and back to action.

    Hmm... fully western-made animated cartoons hardly get shown in Japan since they need heavy editing to fit into Japan's 'anime' standards. I wonder if that'll force TakaTomy/Tokyo TV to produce a new TF show/line of their own?

    Just as long as it's our old G1 friends back (and there's uh, no silly, dumb skateboarding kids running about underfoot), I don't mind.:eek:

    Heh, the idea of them transforming so fast they're "spinning"...sounds far more cartoon-like than ever before!:tongue:

    Well, I was in the 'not gonna watch' camp ever since it was announced it would be teen titans style, I really hated that show with a passion.

    Also, tazmanian devil transforming, so its just a BW-Esque character model switch done so fast or disguised so they hoped noone notices?

    Dunno quite what to make of that news, or even IF there's anything to make of it.

    I'm hoping the "whirlwind transformation" note is exaggerated or misinterpreted. However I am all for robots just transforming, without making a stock footage presentation out of it. :)

    I dunno. "Stylised" these days seems to be a euphemism for "lazy". Why can't people just look like people anymore, without the curving lantern chins, smug grins and bizarrely shaped eyebrows?

    The closer you get to "realistic" the easier it gets to spot flaws.

    Well, it's not turning me off yet. The voice cast seems talented, I like what I hear about having young versions of Optimus, Megatron, Prowl, etc, and I like that it'll have stylized animation in the Teen Titans style. I think this is the shot in the arm Transformers needed after the crappy anime style got too prevalent.

    I complained 10 years ago when BW was CGI because I hated change. I won't make the same mistake again. (I now consider BW the best TF series).

    The only thing that's turning me off is hearing about the "Tasmanian Devil" transforms. I really hope it's just placeholder animation or something, and even if it isn't, I won't hate it until I see it and give it a fair chance. And if the acting, animation, story, and characters are good enough, then...eh...I can forgive the transformations.
