Hey, I was curious if anyone was planning on picking up more than one Crankcase figure. We frist learned that their were suppose to be 3 Chevy Suburban Decepticons called the Dreads, who were Decepticon clones, and now Hasbro's website depicts 2 of the Dreads with different robot and alternate forms. I have been fiddling with the idea of having atleast 3 of these guys in my collection. I just obtained one today, and he is already my favorite DOTM toy so far. How about you?
My thought right now is I'll prolly buy one or two additional Crankcases once I obtain all the other toys. Like, when all the hype has died down and they are just sitting their on a crowded shelf.
I honestly don't plan on getting him at all, tbh. I really like the headsculpt, but that's it. Nothing else about the figure really interests me. Though if they make Crowbar as a Deluxe, I'll definitely get him, and while I'm not sure I would get it, I would be interested in seeing how Hatchet would turn-out as a Deluxe class figure.
Yes, I definately want Hatchet and Crowbar if they are made into Deluxe figures. Even if Hatchet's alternate is a jet, which usually calls for a Voyager size, I'll still buy him. We need more Decepticon toys.
Maybe I will get a second one if it is on sale and I am bored. Got one today and passed on Skids (he is way too small). If somewhere eventually has a bogo, it would be a good opportunity to pick them both up. I have so many Autobots in my movie display that it would be nice to have a couple more D-Con ground vehicles on display. Movie toys just arn't as exciting to me as they used to be.
I'll at least get a few of the Cyberverse Legions. There's something about the Deluxe that grabs me too...
they are 9.88 right now at my walmart. do you think that is going to be the new price for deluxe figs of dotm?
I'm thinking of buying 3, but I want to see the movie first before I bite the bullet. I'm unsure on the details of whether all of "the Dreads" are going to be in the movie (according to the toys, there's at least 3 Dreads; Crankcase, Crowbar, and Hatchet), but I get the feeling that in the movie itself, the Dreads are just going to be the name of nameless Crankcase drones. ...if they use names at all. I'll surely be buying one Crankcase, but I need to know the details before I buy more.
I'm not suggesting buying 10 of them. But originally it was said there would be 3 Suburban 'Cons. They were suppose to be clones as well, so of course they should look the same. I'm mainly asking if you will be buying a max of 3.
