looking forward to tomorrow - i kept thinking while reading this earlier on- zcwilliam is going to LOVE this issue lol

havent checked yet but the opening few pages seemed to quote "bullets" almost exactly? or at least was written to resonate with that story.

 

I feel like I just read three comics. Roberts is amazing, as is the art. I love this so hard.

 

Just reading the preview- there's so much to digest. This comic is really good.

 

wracking my brain on who the big reveal/cliffhanger character could be.
The only one who would genuinely shock me would be deaths head, if its overlord/springer/ironfist/megatron/grimlock ect, yeah its gonna be cool but it wouldn't realy shock me as such, still cant wait to get my hands on the issue though!

 

Throwing guesses out there on the mystery patient...Kup. Springer. Grimlock...heck, maybe a new character entirely lifted from elsewhere in the fiction (someone like Bulkhead for example)...or possibly a Decepticon?

Hell, maybe Megatron himself? Who friggin' knows.

 

What if, and bear with me now, Meagtron is the big surprise and he joined the Lost Light because he also wanted to find the knights?

That'd be intense.

 

that would be pretty cool- xaaron telling magnus and rodimus that they have no legal ground to kill megatron, megs converting tailgate with 'con propgander ala shawn berger, goading whirl-knowing that the autobot cant touch him, imagine him strolling into Swerve's and ordering a jack and coke, sitting down smugly and daring anyone to say anything! I know its probably not gonna be megs but thats the beauty of jame's writing- anything could happen!

 

We'll know tomarrow. My guess (and there are a lot of good options) as of right now is a Con whose almost as big a deal as Megs, who Roberts has written before, and who was definately in need of medical attention last time we saw him...

We shall see...

It was said in another review that the cliffhanger character is someone from LSTOTW. That rules out Megatron and Grimlock. (and yes, I know Megs was in LSOTW. But really, that was more of a cameo than anything)

I fucking love discussing real intrigue and mystery that was intentionally crafted by the writer rather than explaining plot holes. New IDW rocks.

 

You can stop shoving your opinion in our faces now. We get it, you don't like Prime. That's no reason to start an arguement where there wasn't one.

 

this seems very strange to me, if idw had mentioned all this last month and drummed up interest they could have mabey increased sales?

Well, to be fair, they teased a "returning long-lost robit" a while back. Besides, it's a monthly series that's already got enough hype behind it simply because of it's storytelling quality. Maybe they're realising good writting sells better than character names or gimmicks?
