    Blitzwing was last seen in DOOP, on Cybertron. Roberts did have plans for him to be on the Lost Light, but they didn't pan out.

    Love it when the creators chime in on threads. :D 

    I myself don't think I'd like Tarn secretly being someone we knew from before. I'd prefer him to just be a new, original character.

    Yeah. Having the twist just be a previously used name would be kinda boring. I like that he's all new.

    I think if the proper motivation were detailed, it could be kind of cool. I personally think it's one of two characters. I guess I'll post them here on the off chance I'll get some 'told ya so' points later.

    - Megatron. Because his body looks a bit like the reconfigured Costa version. Plus, the gun arm.
    - Thundercracker. I'm at a loss as to the armor, but motivation-wise it could be kind of cool, I think. Also on some of the close-ups it almost looks like he's got kind of a seeker head.

    No offense, but Thundercracker? Tarn and TC are two waaay different characters. I don't see it.

    Plus, isn't Thundercracker chillin out on Earth at the moment?

    What better way to bring him back in?! Strictly motivationally speaking, I think it makes sense. He hasn't been happy with the way Decepticons have been doing things lately, and maybe this is his chance to put things right.

    It's a stretch, I know, but I'm fairly certain that the mask means he's an established character.

    Thundercracker is guarding Overlord in the secret compartment of the Lost Light.

    He wasn't happy with the Decepticons because of their whole "horrific mass slaughter" thing in AHM... which is pretty much what the DJD does. They're a group of dudes who go around inflicting horrific torture on people before killing them.

    I dunno, it would just seem outta left field-y to me.

    Yeeeeeah, that would just be... a bizarre twist. How would the timeline of events even work? Their personalities are completely different; Tarn is a complete Megatron fanboy, whereas
    TC
    is far from that.

    Plus, if
    Thundercracker
    shows up anywhere, I don't think it'll be in MTMTE. There've been many hints he'll be appearing in RiD.

    He pretty much left the conflict altogether.......unfortunately he is more than likely on "the list" as well. There's an issue I would love Roberts to pen.

    Misfire cracks me up. "Emergency huddle." Lovable, goofy Decepticons. Kind of sucks that Spinister is considered to be "one of the six greatest failures" but ehhh what can you do? I hope these characters rejoin the Decepticons and that they continue to get exposure.

    Would love to see what Roberts could do with other characters that have never, ever received love from any writer (usually only killed off). I think I'd cry tears of joy if someone ever writes Skullcruncher in to any story other than cannon fodder.

    I love both the DJD and the Scav team, so I spent the night cheering for both teams :)  Interesting characters. Also. Tarn is said to be the same/similar mold as War Within Megatron. Tesarus gave the non-transforming RotF Devastator figure a new meaning. And Vos has the most awesome fanservice reference
    second only to Peaceful Tyranny
    .

    At the same time, six loosers* and a braindead dino had more luck against the DJD than a Phase-sixer. Whoever had put (spoilery cargo) on the Lost Light, they didn't want DJD to know.
    Also, the warning about the basement could mean that now that they looked, they also opened the hatch and now the DJD will be after the ship. Bad things are coming.



    *Why do I have the feeling that DJD still cannot count?
