To each his own. His silhouette lacks any real kibble and I think he looks solid.

 

I wonder if the DOTM Megs is gonna be able to turn his trailer...otherwise, the vehicle mode'd just be a long brick on wheels. Still holding out hope, though.

 

bonecrusher is amazing and just perfect to me.....

optimus looks great and is way better the the ROTF one we got....

jetfire looks amazing and perfect to me with no issues..... way better then then 2009 version....

DOTM megatron look 50% great and 50% bad..... his arms and legs are horrible along with the shity cape hood thing, but then the rest of him is great and IMO igor is the highlight

combo jetfire prime looks ok, never liked the design so probably wont display it like that ever

Here's Bonecrusher

 

Bonecrusher looks good, especially for a figure based on the movie. Comparing his look from the pictures with the '07 toy's pictures, this figure is going to be much better than the original.

 

I'm not gonna lie: Bonecrusher doesn't impress me.

Jetfire looks hideous.

Prime looks pretty good; passed on the last one.

I can see myself getting Prime and Jetfore for the combined power suit mode tho.

Cons-
Over all the truck took a HUGE hit for the new transformation
The area below the door of the truck is VERY messy and has exposed robot bits everywhere
Gas canisters are missing the toolbox
Missing three of the center lights on the roof of the truck mode
Grey hinge on the rear of the roof of the truck mode
Jetfire connection points on the side of the hood of the truck
Jetfire connection points on the rear of the truck near the tail lights
Jetfire connection points on the shoulders
Jetfire connection points on the wheel wells keep them from collapsing like the SS05
The front wheel wells give him some love handles (SS05 kinda has something like that there too)
Cheaper blue color
Missing paint apps of the previous version: wrists, blue parts of the upper thighs, and elbow joints
Needs paint on these areas: between the chest windows, between the red stomach bits, biceps, shoulder canisters, forearms, and flames on the blue chest windows
Upper arms look skinny compared to the new bigger forearms
SS05 swords wont work in the proper way (they are upside down if you put them on like the video)
Back profile is ugly from the side (hollow)

I know I have more cons than pros, but a lot of the cons that are paint related can be fixed by one's own actions. I am more bothered by the truckmode sacrifices and the Jetfire connection points than anything. I am hoping the rumored leader SS Prime will fix these issues. It should have all the awesome botmode changes, but drop the Jetfire stuff and just make a perfect SS OP. The leader could have connection points for flight gear, and I hope it doesn't get in the way like here.

It will be packaged as a leader only because of the trailer and the robot mode should still be pretty much the same, but with improvements due to dropping the Jetfire points (wheel wells collapse etc). I loved SS05 and this figure is great though, and I can't wait to pick up SS32.

 

I doubt the Leader prime would remove all those pegs and holes, iirc he represents DOTM Prime, which will have a jetpack that’s basically identical to Jetfire but silver and less robot corpse-y. If anything, Hasbro would keep those pegs for the transforming trailer jetpack for sure.

 

Movie 1 and 2 prime is the same design. But the studio rotf didn't have a combining feature as maybe Jetfire wasn't planned yet. He also has too dark colors and a bad inaccurate chest and back.

So they fixed paint, chest, back, thigh wheels, and added the ports to combine. He can be movie 1 or 2 prime. The first rotf is now useless except to keep the swords from it for the new one.

Also, based on that image, it seems that the new SS Optimus is the same height of AOE Evasion Optimus, which is pretty much the perfect height for movie Optimus compared to everyone else.

I don't even mind the wheel wells not collapsing, since Evasion Optimus didn't have that either. This will look very good with that one, and having the first two (and eventually three with the upcoming leader class one if it's indeed this with the DOTM trailer) movie Optimus prime, along with the AOE voyager (who I hope gets the rusty, or the MTB version re-released in the SS line) and the TLK voyager.

Now we just need a Bumblebee movie voyager in this vain (they might even be able to reuse most of Evasion Mode's engineering).

Hmm it seems dotm megatron is taller than jetfire... that ain't right. Still looks good though, might be my favorite wave yet.
